Left msg. Said they were the police. Weird . Just a texted msg. I didn't open it . Scam ??

Said they have an iPad mini that was stolen from me in 2019 in VG condition. Yeah right

Received message saying official police investigation finalised no Police station landline number. Than received mail from Ethical standards command saying your new reference number is . And don't quote police link reference number anymore as once it reaches them they assign a COM Number

Legitimate call. Police officer explained it is a text generated from their computers which is why you can't call it back. Contact the station mentioned in the message on their landline.

Sms Claimed to be police, demanding details of a recent accident.

Unfortunately, I was given a scam number rather than my insurance contact number, so this number could be "ambulance chasers" trying to gain more info from me.

They said they were a constable from a text and to book an appointment at specific police station two days later I get a call from a no caller ID asking for my address so that they could swing by but I told them I’m physically coming to the station and I was ghosted

Yes this is a police number. Also had a voice mail message left from a landline number regarding a crime from my stolen number plates. All connected. Not a scam at all.
