Caller: Michelle Baxter (at least this was the name she gave me).

Told me she was from a National Research Company - discussion about Superannuation. I mentioned that I was not comfortable with giving over information, and tried many times to hang up - I should have just been rude and hung up. Anyway, I refused to give her my postcode, and she finally said that was ok, someone would be in touch with me to discuss in the next day or two. She said they did not have access ways of finding out about us, and was friendly then THOUGHT she had hung up on me, but had not - so I could hear ALL the conversations of the staff in their office. Rather interesting, I heard other staff mentioning how people they spoke to were Fu**wits etc etc, at least Michelle did not say that about me. BUT she did say, well she told me what her occupation was, and that she was in Melbourne, and I had her first name, so I Googled her, and now have all the information I needed and she would not tell me over the phone - then said "isn't the internet a wonderful thing." It will be an interesting conversation when the person who is going to call me does tomorrow! I will let them know ALL about their privacy call conversations that they try to convince potential customers about. Funny how we can't call them back on their number isn't it!

I called back number 0410 571 284 reached voice mail but did not say for what company.

Lady said they were enquiring to see if i was eligible for a government grant. Was i working, am i paying off/own my home and am i under 60.

I got a recorded message saying "You are the only one in this teleconference" and then silence.

I get calls from these guys all the time & tell them I’m not interested & block the number. This time I asked her how do I stop them from continually harassing me. She said that I need to be ‘classified’ in their system so the computer doesn’t keep trying to contact me as she can’t do anything about it. So I needed to tell her wether I am renting or own my own home. I told her I don’t need to be classified or tell you anything & to stop harassing me. Hung up & blocked number but no doubt i’ll get another call tomorrow.
