another scam mobile number...................I've blocked this number along with the other 37 numbers.

Some guy called offering me tax rebate. Was so rude I hung up. Sounds very weird.

Same spiel about wanting to find out if I was eligible for some government grant. I asked where he got my number from, he said from a telemarketing company. I asked for the name of the company he was working for, he said "National Review Service" - I started to google, he must have heard me typing. He said based on my questions I was making an 'uneducated guess' about the company and that I should let him explain before jumping to conclusions. I then hung up.

yes that number called me left no message.

A girl answered after 10 second wait

And she was stammering for the words what to say

When she did manage to say something it was --it won't take long -- my reply if you keep stammering it will take longer

Same deal as the fools at I formation Australia. Asking about if I own my home, how old I was and if I might be eligible for home owner super grant scheme rubbish!!!
God I’m sick of these people! I have informed them I am on the DNC register and have requested to be removed but they just ignore it!!
I keep reporting them to the Ombudsman too!

Just had a call from this number as well. I said didn't have time & what it was about. She said some sort of Government Grant. I said I was not interested but she just kept talking so I hung up on her & blocked the number. I am also on the Do Not Call Register so don't know why I got this call.

Did anyone else happen to attend the recent Travel Expo in Melbourne - I seem to have received a LOT of new spam calls since attending a couple of weeks ago....

When I answered the call a male voice said "hello" and then hung up.

Hung up when they reached my voicemail. They didn't leave a message and when I tried to call back it just kept ringing.

Caller: National grant rebate

I was asked my age and if I rent or own a Home. I said why do u need to know? She said I qualified for a grant. Told her my house is paid off and dont need any grants. She insisted “ you are missing out” told her if I qualify I will call you back as Im busy. I requested her full name, and ID Number of our conversation and office number as She used a mobile instead or to sent me a letter. She requested my address but told her if you know my phone & I qualify you should know where I live as my number is in your data.She got nasty upset and hung up. Already blocked from my phone as she didnt even know my name or surname. When she asked I gave her a fictional name. Totally a persistant scammer 😂

ph rang/ I answered- they hung up/ I rang the number (within 20seconds) - got robo messagebank. Blocked.

I report these calls to ASIC ..I am on the do not call register, yet these sneak through some how!

I had a missed call from this mob a few days ago. It showed up as a "Potential Fraud" call & when I checked the number found all this info relating to scam calls. They called back yesterday, so I was ready for them. Sarah from "National Review Service" was very polite & friendly & told me they were calling to talk to me about a Govt scheme where I could redirect some of my tax into superannuation. She wanted to start with my name & address but I when I questioned her about their company ABN number she couldn't provide one. Said they were a private organisation, to which I responded that if they were a registered company, they would have an ABN. She told me she couldn't give me an ABN, but her manager might have it & wanted to keep asking me questions. I asked to speak with a manager who could provide me with an ABN so I could check their company on the Australian Business Register website. She told me the manager was in a meeting & put me on hold. I hung up.

I never answer calls when the location just comes up "Australia". Also most of these numbers that show as mobiles are actually disguised land line numbers.

As soon as I say my company name they hang up.

Some dodgy rebate offer. Rudest people ever. I said I was too busy and she replied "why even answer the phone if you're so busy?" she then hung up on me.

Did not pick up and they left no msg so I’m guessing telemarketers or such. Will block the number
