called twice today on my work number; answered the first time and when I realised what they were trying to sell hung up on them. A couple of hours later they rang again, but it was logged as a missed call. We used to be protected from this junk while we had Groupwise, since transferring to Outlook it has been nothing but strange phone calls from marketeers who should be banned from ringing ANYONE.

Constantly keep ringing, i just recieved a phone call 2 min ago. Well out of the usual office hours. They call at various times and if i dont answer they call again half an hour to an hour later. This is ridiculous.

DO NOT REPLY TO THIS NUMBER

As the commentator AP stated this number appears to be an automated service to see if the called is home. Upon further investigation, attached to this number is the tracking service number 19977666. When you call this number - (03) 9999 0050, an automatic call will be also placed from your phone to 19977666 with your private location details as follows (thankfully I discovered this another way without sending my private details, so you don't have to risk it):

5 digit number, First and last name, postcode

This is a huge invasion of privacy, I advice the Federal Police to act this immediately as it is not only an invasion of privacy but a huge public security risk. Regardless of their intentions they are harassing and even tracking their telemarketing targets. This is not on!

Seems to be an automated service to see if you are home.
It needs to be blocked by the telecommunications ombudsman.
I have had 2 calls each from this number today and last night at around dinner time. when answered it hangs up.

I have also been called by this number about 3-4 a day for the last 3 days! I googled the number after receiving 2 missed calls and found this page. Glad I didn't call them back. I just received a voice mail asking for me by name but not saying who they were or what they wanted! very sneaky!

they are selling funeral insurance for yourself and your family, and they will ask for confirmation of your name and postal address so they can send stuff out to you to peruse and then you can either take it up or not :|

Sick of unsolicited calls like this. Maybe we should all get together and file a class action suit against this company. Also, it is beyond time for our government to take action against people like this. How would our Parliamentarians like it if they were the ones being harassed.

Tired of constant calls from this number and others then create a new contact in your mobile. Call it pest or pain in the arse what ever is easy for you then if you have an iPhone then block the caller (at the bottom of your contact page you will see the option) bingo no more calls from this number. As you get a new pest caller add it to your existing blocked PEST.
HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL.
