Caller: Industry Fund Services This is a scam and be very careful what information that you provide about your business or employees. This company will have some of your CBUS information but will try fishing for more under the threat of unpaid superannuation. When you push them to provide more detailed information, it turns out that they don't have any. Our company is never behind on superannuation payments, yet this organisation, it seems are in the business of trying to shake the apple tree to see what falls out. Do not engage as you will be put on a list and the calls and emails will be unending.

Caller: sally Someone called my office asking to speak with our Finance Manager and even knew her name. Since she wasn’t available, I took the call.
The caller claimed to be from Industry Fund Services and gave a reference number: 298939. She sounded quite professional, but I decided to double-check the number: (03) 9960 2514. I found several complaints about this number online.
I also noticed that the caller had an Asian accent, and I’ve seen similar comments from others. That said, I want to make it very clear—I don’t believe an accent is a sign of illegal activity. I say this as someone who also has an accent, being from Latin America.
Just wanted to share my experience in case others receive a similar call. Better to be cautious.

Caller: Industry Fund services Industry Fund services request us to pay super monthly rather than quarterly. I am thinking of it and consider to suggest the business owner to change super fund registration. Consequently I called CBUS again and asked them whether it is compulsory to pay super monthly. CBUS said it is not. I told CBUS that Industry Fund services followed us frequently and CBUS said they do not know......So just leave it there since it is not compulsory to pay monthly

They say they are from Cbus on behalf of Industry Superfund.
