Just got a call from this number, picked it up and got dial tone (then I hung up - I hate telemarketers and auto-calls). Phone rings again 5 seconds later, same number. Person spoke, claiming they were doing research ("Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to sell anything"), and then asked me if I was employed or not, and if my partner was employed or not (both no).
They asked if my number was a business number. I said "No, and I'm on the Do Not Call Register". Response from scammer: "Ha-ha, very funny *Click*"
First time I've had a scammer hang up on me, I hadn't even started trying to waste their time!

Received a call from this number. Said they werent selling anything and that is was a quick survey. Asked how they got my number and the response was a very old copy of the white pages. I dont think so. i have a private, never been listed number. This company behind this number must have purchased information. I will find out who this is and report back.

Just received a heap of calls from this number. The cheeky male with an accent kept ringing back. I would take the phone off the hook for a while then hang up. He kept ringing and said "I'll just keep ringing if I don't speak with the wage earner". I didn't want him to get to the message where he could then ring a mobile number. UNBELIEVABLE, HAVE NEVER HAD A NUISANCE CALL SO BAD!!!!!

Had a call from this number today 27/06/2014.... They didn't leave a message, so called back to see who it was...it's some telemarketing system. If you wait long enough it tells you to "press" a number to remove your number from their system, it will take 48 hours but apparently it will not be called again....might have been a risk but I did it anyway....I will be keeping an eye on my bills from now on

I just had a call but they were only interested in the wage earner who is my husband. They asked about his job, his industry, whether we own our house or mortage, our ages and what my husband earns. When I didn't tell them they hung up.....

Received 4 x calls from this number, each time I wouldn't hang up without answering, they would call straight back. All this after 8pm. I eventually yelled "stop calling" before hanging up. We never answer overseas or private numbers on the home phone anyway.

Did they come?

Now ringing me up to 12 times a day. I've not answered and sppreciate the wArning found herein.

Thanks for the info. I keep getting calls from them. I tell them I am not interested and hang up, but they call again a month or so later. Called today, says he's from Info Management Services in South Melbourne. Wants to set up a visit with info in a presentation at our home. Keeps insisting. I will do what you have suggested. I tried to block the call with my phone company, Optus, but they can only bar out going calls. I am also on the Do Not Call Register. Optus said I can note three times they call - exact date and time, and let them know, and they can send them a warning letter or something.

This phone number rings a couple of times a day usually around or after lunch. I don't answer any interstate phone calls because there is no need. I always check on the internet and input the phone number that called to see who it is. People who need to contact me have my personal contact number... still irritating though. In the past when I have answered and told them I'm not interested, they still call back on the same day more than once. Pesky and persistent. Certainly won't get them any business!!

We have received calls from this number. They are calling themselves Payless Solutions. The first time he said he had spoken to me on the past. I asked him exactly when was that and who did I speak to. He fluffed over that and went into the sales pitch. I had to stop him and tell him I'm not interested and he ignored me and kept going. In the end I told him I do not sliver anyone from your office spoke to me before and I'm not interested in whatever you are selling.
He calls again I will report him!

Receive almost daily calls from this number, but I don't answer these calls anymore.

I recently had a calls from these people calling themselves Payless Solutions, I told them to remove my name and phone number from their system and do not call me any further. I then went online and registered a complaint on the do not call registry. Almost immediately after completing the online complaint I was rung again by the same number now calling themselves Max benefits solutions. I notifed them that I had reported them to the Do not call register and again to remove my name and number from their call list.
I heard now back from the Australian Communications and media Authority, this is a section of it
"Thank you for the information you provided about the unwanted calls you have received from an entity calling itself Payless Solutions. The ACMA’s enquiries indicate that these calls are likely to originate from a company based offshore known as Infotronics Private Ltd.The ACMA appreciates that calls of this nature can be frustrating and takes complaints about potential breaches of the DNCR Act and the TRCIS seriously. Infotronics is currently at the ‘warn’ stage of the ACMA’s Do Not Call Register Complaint handling policy. This means that the ACMA is closely monitoring the organisation and gathering evidence which may be used to support an investigation. Obtaining evidence of alleged contraventions must be done carefully and can be a lengthy process."

Tonight I had another call from this same number, so I urge anyone that has unsolicited phone calls from (03) 9951 0923 under Payless or Max benefits to also lodge a complaint, hopefully it will then go past the "warn" stage.

Some rude marketing company, don't answer it

Caller claimed he was collecting information on behalf of government (which department or level he could not say) and that failure to answer his questions would result in legal action as 'We have a mandate'; from whom he could not say. If he took my advice, he is now dining with Satan!

caller identified themselves as "Info Management Service" when asked where they were located they said South Melbourne. I asked them for their phone number and they gave 9384 9441 when I asked for the area code the said '02'.

call diverts on answer. Caller said he was Kevin and asked how I was. He hung up abruptly when in reply I asked him who he was calling from. Sounds very phishy to me
