Scam overseas i called back and got a msg saying call 1300 843 130 which is a message service. Typical scammers from overseas

These ppl are a pain in the rear! ... calling at least once every day, consistently rude & arrogant, very strong telemarketers/scammers accent. She asks am I the owner I say no she says can she talk to the owner, i say what is it regarding/where are you calling from, she says " i think i ask you a question", I say "I asked you one as well", she says "i ask you question first ... etc etc" ... i hang up!
I now have an air-horn beside my desk phone for future amusement! :)

Received call at 1718 hours Friday 18.09.15. No response when phone was answered!!!

Got a call from these guys yesterday, knew right away it was a scam when they got the name of the business owner wrong. I told them there was no-one named that working here and politely ended the call. She called back ten seconds later demanding to know why I had hung up on her, I told her I knew it was a scam and she was wasting my time. She said it wasn't a scam, they were taking a survey for Telstra about the NBN "which your business uses" (ha, not likely!) and that she would appreciate it if I didn't hang up on her again as she found it incredibly rude. By this stage I was dying with laughter at her being angry at ME so I told her "Ok well just to warn you, I'm about to hang up on you again" and then I blocked the number. She's tried to call another five times in the last 24 hours.

A rude Indian man called me from this number today, speaking over the top of me and demanding to speak with the business owner. He was reluctant to tell me where he was calling form until I advised that he was wasting his time because I simply wouldn't put the call through unless I knew who he was, where he was calling from and what it was about
He then told me he was calling from "Corporate House Australia" about our phone systems, I told him not to call again and hung up!

same story. that 9517 1443 number rings every day. returned the call to 1300 843 130 with our 3 calls a time fax machine.......they don't answer, but I don't care!
I have better things to do than rush to the phone to find them calling 4-5 times a day
buying a whistle.

Just got a call from this number. Very rude and persistant Indian woman asking for the owner of the business, same scenario as with the other posts on here.

I called the company (V4 Australia) and they advised me that they outsource their marketing/sales and would investigate the calls. Feel free to give them a call on 1300 843 130

I answered the call from (03) 9517 1443 and he asked me to speak to the owner of the business. I asked what business and he said to me 'don't you know?'. I replied, I do know but why don't you tell me which business you think you are calling. He kept asking to speak to the owner but wouldn't tell me why. He then got frustrated and hung up on me!

I received an extremely rude male caller who asked to speak to the business owner about our phone line (I am the business owner). When I asked what it was about, he said "the phone number xxx(he gave ours)". When I asked what he was calling about, he said (rudely) "About the phone, you know P-H-O-N-E". I asked him where he was calling from and he said "Business Council of Australia" and then hung up.
Obviously this call centre did not get any sales training!!!
Can't the telephone ombudsman close this down?

This number calls me on land line every day for last few weeks and up to 10 times a day. Can't block it as business number. Have never answered but it's very annoying.

how do you get on the do-not-call register?
I am so over these ppl...our phone number is supposed to be unlisted..HOW did they get the number in the first place!!

Adding mine to the list of complaints. Totally rude and annoyingly persistent. Lost count of the number of times I've told them we're not interested and asked them not to call again. Doesn't stop them ringing every couple of weeks with the same blurb ....

Extremely rude, unprofessional cold callers. They are a complete joke, worst I've ever dealt with.

An indian woman ask for 'the owner of this business'. Which owner to you want to talk to . She said the one looks after phone account. I told her it is a big company , owner doesn't look after phone account. SHE HANG UP ON ME!

Just had a call from this number - stated that my rates are private and how did they get hold of them, and they hung up. refused to give their company name. Tried to call the number back and got an answering machine, too full to even leave a voicemail.
