strangely always tries to ask for your Vodafone access PIN. Even sent me a TXT from the same sender ID AUVODAFONE, but anyone with access to web texting tools can mimick the sender. Goto a vodafone outlet and give PIN is safer.

Received call from this number today. Caller claiming she is from Vodafone and want to discuss details of my account. Received a TXT message asking to send them PIN. Indian accent. Looks like a scam.

This is a valid number from Vodafone in Victoria usually used to contact current customers, at end of contract, offering upgrade deals.

This number is suspect: do not divulge personal information to them

Thanks. Yep, sounded suspect so I ended the call. First thing she asked was my PIN No. Vodafone may ask for that if you call them, but they made the call, so if legit, they would know who they are calling.

IT'S A SCAM!!!

Please don't be silly enough to give them your PIN, phone & Vodaphone account number, especially if you have your credit card or debit card details on file for pay by the month.

If it was light they would have it right there in front of them on the screen already when calling you or when you call them. It's a number coming up on my call back to them from so called Vodaphone.

Just phoned twice in a row and hung up both times when I answered. Obviously has 'issues'

Spam phone call do not answer, they claim to be from Vodaphone.

It is an official vodafone sales team , but if you are paranoid like i was call the vodafone call centre , and confirm that you were recently contacted by a vodafone team member. They should be able to confirm what changes have been made etc

Got called just today, claiming that they're from vofadone and asking for my PIN number. I knew it was a scam at that point and I said I have no idea what she's talking about and she kept asking me to try and give 4 digits of number before I hung up saying I don't have time to deal with them. Definitely a scam!

It is definitely Vodaphone. Don't listen to all the above nonsense about scams. It's just advertising, don't stress!
