Numerous calls from their number, really annoying.

A girl called Helen phoned. She said she was from Telstra and was phoning to say that as I am a customer with them, they can give me a $25 discount. They asked if I had a landline, internet and mobile, and asked how much I paid. I was passed to someone called James. They knew my surname. I said if you are Telstra you know how much I pay. He said he was not from Telstra, he was in India, but they have offices in Melbourne. I asked which company he worked for, and he said Mart Tel. When I said I don't do deals on the phone he hung up. I am on the Do-Not-Call register.

Same complaint as above - answer the phone politely and they hang up without saying anything - irritating but I won't waste my time or a phone call trying to call them back. - JERKS

Same have rung 5 times just today!

If your ADSL drops out when you get a phone call, you don't have a splitter in place (or a faulty splitter).

Called on Anzac Day.

Told me they work for Telstra and offered big discount on next phone bill. Asked how much my last phone bill was and I wouldn't tell him and I ended the call.

Hung up as I answered the phone.

I receive international calls plus various (03) number calls, including one today from (03) 9028 5545. I'm on Telstra ADSL... each time a phone call comes in, and there's no-one on the other end, my entire ADSL falls out and I have to restart it. WTF.

Same here, same number, say nothing and hang up
They will be copping a blast from my sports whistle next time they ring
