Three calls today which I missed then when I answered they hung up. They rang again now and I screamed at them to stop calling and hanging up and some Indian guy then told me he was going to eff me in the ahole.....really nice people these guys are. So disgusted but the last time I reported it to Telstra they said there was nothing they could do....gotta love this...can't they just block the number

Rang today on the home phone and said they were from telstra and offered me a discount off my bills in future, due to the fact that I paid my bills on time and been a long time customer. Then asked me how much my phone bill was?????? Knew it was a scam as Telstra offer you nothing. Told the truth that my phone bill was $5.00 last bill. said they would leave things as they were. Skilled scammers as they had great phishing skills that they were employing. Hope no more calls.

It rang twice today... I answered by saying "Hello who is it and following silence I said a second time "who is it?" and eventually hanged up after silence from the other hand. It's good to put the pressure on them to identify themselves and who they represent... if they do that then bluntly say "what do you want?"... Paul Davies used to say "who is it and what do you want?"

This number rang today, said they were from Telstra Resellers, technically this is correct but some people think it is actually Telstra. He knew I was going to hang up cos he was talking so fast .... I said let's cut to the chase, who will be billing me for these super special charges you are talking about ?? He says you will be billed by Southern Phone .... I said, Why didn't you say so at the start, you cant be trusted .... and hung up !!

Called about my Telstra account I am not with Telstra. Claimed to be "Resellers of Telstra network" and offering a discount, and that if I changed over, the bill would be from "Smart Phone"

Had "Telstra Resellers" call, and ask me how much my phone bill was, as I am eligible for a discount. i said that they should know how much it was. They said they are not privy to that information. Kept badgering me for a figure, and I kept insisting that I do not know how much my last bill was. Eventually they hung up, after they disclosed they were Smartphone. Chap with an indian accent and caller id - indicated overseas call.

Received a scam call from a person claiming to be from Telstra billing! I said the person is not available and they hung up immediately.

Ringing several times a day. Very argumentive. They are now ringing and then hanging up without saying anything. Just annoying.

Got a call, said they were from telstra but had no details. Asked me for details so I made some up. Indian or similar so told him I was a racist. He said I was gay so I said I was a gay racist, a Gaysist. Went back and forth he told me i was rude and my telstra service would be disconnected in 1 hour. I told him I don't have Telstra but go ahead. Blah blsh I asked him does he know what it sounds like when his Girlfriend hangs up on him. He said no so I hung up.

this number called long pause then hungup tried ring back it always engaged

Just had a call from this mob (female) who stated they where from Telstra and wanted to know the amount of my last phone bill. Said if they were from Telstra they should know. I repeatedly asked why they wanted to know and finally a male came on line and asked the same and when asked why he said if I did not tell him my phone line would be cut off immediately. At that point I hung up....they are becoming more brazen !!!

Caller claimed to be offering discounts from Telstra for being a Telstra customer, (which I'm not), when asked do I understand what he is offering?
I said yes but don't I believe you!
He then said "go to hell", I returned the gesture & hung up.
So much for do not call registry, it doesn't stop these scams.

Indian telemarketer. Started the sales call to which I promptly said I wasn't interested. To which he replied "Not interested. You bastard" and then hung up. I tried calling the number back to complain but it wouldn't connect.

Got a call this afternoon and address by surname. But hang up after I did not speak. Scam for sure.

I've had 3 calls today, when I answered they hung up. The next one won't be a pleasant hello

I have blocked this number and many other scammers with a device called "T-Block" (have no association with the seller of this device) It is connected to your phone line and incoming and outgoing calls can be blocked. It is available online, they also have a very good support service. There are other similar devices online as well.

Called today claiming to be representing some electricity company. Advised the indian caller that we weren't interested and to please remove our number from their database. Cheeky sod asked why do we want our number removed. Our answer to him was "Because we do not want to receive calls from them ever again."
I am sure pigs will fly before they ever stop calling or remove your number from their database.

love it....might get myself a whistle.....I just leave the phone off the hook as long as I can...if they ring you and hang up, you can leave your phone off the hook and they can't use that phone, it is still connected to you.....and they are still paying for the call, so the longer the better, they pay more

You can't call them back as it says "the number you called is not connected"! I have had 14 calls so far from them - sometimes 4 per day! I have complained to the Do Not Call Register who hopefully will take action as I have been registered for a long time.
