Calling to give 45% discount on bill saying they are comparison website

Answer the call. Hangs up straight away. Suspects it is a call-centre testing reachability of my number.

Multiple calls and hang ups from this number which has been incredibly annoying. On one occasion a male with a heavy Indian accent from call centre tried to tell me (between breaking up and lots of noise in background) he was from Telstra and there was a problem with my emails- I told him to stop scamming people and to get a life!

I am on the do not call register bit cannot block from home phone or is there a way ?

Last time this happened I was told I had to pick up and keep them on the phone for awhile so they could be tapped?
Had to be happening for a while before anything could be done - this was going on fo weeks.

Another scam call. Woman with strong accent said she was from an energy company and asked for a person who used to work here. Told her he had died..and that the house number she gave was wrong before hanging up.

Caller: Energy Experts

Call Center from what appears to be India claiming to be a market comparison company called - Energy Research. Advised me I can save up to 31% on my energy bill if I switch to this company. When I asked could they save me 31% on a electricity usage charges and 31% on my electricity connection charges, the caller kept repeating - I can save you 31%. Could no locate a web site whilst on the phone with them so I suspect its a scam. Hung up on them.

Called my number and hanged up . I am not able to return their call. The number in caller ID is fake. I think it is scam

Caller: "Charlotte"

Missed the first persons name, said from the start I've previously requested this number not to call me, they persisted so I wasted their time. Managed to waste about 20 minutes of their time, was escalated to someone higher up when the first person couldn't answer my questions, then spoke to "Charlotte" who told me about her sister but was still rude, kept contradicting herself, so on. She eventually asked if I would be getting the comparison, I said no so she called me an a**hole and a time waiting b***h and hung up on me

Woman wanted my electricity bill

Nuisance/scam, blocked.

Unsolicited message on Sunday, all the Govt BS about Privacy this/privacy that are just so much rhetoric !

Getting up to four of these marketing/pest calls every day.

Honest scammers who when told I was on a Do Not Call register said they could not seen this. After some 5 yrs on the register, their system has failed : )

Despite my number in nocall registry, the person from this number keeps calling and talks about energy pricing.....

Long pause, loud background noise and barely audible person says with accent "Hello?". Overseas call-centre, hang up, hang up!
