This number has been calling me everyday since I got a new iphone with optus 3 weeks ago. This is the most persistant telemarketing company I've come across. I think we all need to call optus to complain about them giving our number out to these people!

I'm currently in the USA...but they keep calling every single day. With international roaming on, I do NOT need this.

Recieved my first call today from this number. No message left. If you find you get angry or frustrated, put the number on your phone under a really funny name and put a funny ring tone on the number that makes you feel better (you can also add other numbers to this caller id) and just ignore it. I laugh every time i get a call from any telemarketing company now....the list of numbers to my warning caller id was getting quite long...though it seems to have reduced dramatically since putting my name on the do not call register.

Yep at it again (03) 9982 8800 Mobiles are called via a computer system and then the telemarketer gets on the line ...sausage factory .... hang-up or just ignore !

Try answering and saying that if they don't stop calling you will cancel your optus accounts and advise optus that calls from this service are the reason. You have to give them the incentive to remove your name from their contact Database. A credible threat to their business interest.

yes, i too have been getting calls from about (03) 9009 6600, i googled the number and so found this comments page. i am with optus with mobile numbers on the one account, 2nd one for my wife. these people are very annoying. i think i'll answer next time and "i'm gonna have me some fun"!
think i'll answer, then as they start talking, say "ok, sure, just give me a moment to unzip my pants, and we can get started" :)

makes no differnce if you answer or hang up, they are still constantantly calling me every second day.Has any one had any luck blocking this nubmer or reporting it.

I've been called twice in the last 2 days. They talk for 10 minutes and offer a lot of free stuff - TV for 45 min, Safe cloud storage, premium voicemail and then start asking details like FULL NAME, DOB and EMAIL ADDRESS. I said you have this all, they said only Customer Service has these details. So I hanged up. They seemed to only know my age and plan ($79 cap). Optus use my DOB as security and email me my bill every month.
