Robo scam call to my mobile phone demanding I call another number if I want to avoid being debited $199 from my credit card for iTunes gift cards from Ebay. Poor quality recording, US accent.

They tell my brother he won an iTunes card & they need his details, online banking account info, etc. When he asked to speak with someone else higher up at iTunes they threaten him & when he tell them he was busy & will call back, they hang up on him. Suspicious fraudsters.

an automatic debit was going to occur on my CC, obvious scam.
What really disgusts me is that the Telcos who are being paid for this number don't immediately block the number, Publish warnings on their Websites, trace the scammers and involve the Federal Police or Interpol, to nail them. Presumably because they are also making heaps of money from Scammers

Told I had purchased I-tune $199, and also 3 other orders in the pipe line, coles, david jones.
asked to get me connected via mobile app, app store, to down load a help app
they would then send a cancelation request for eBay
I think they wanted to verify my details
Mobile number, Full name, etc...
asked for their credentials, but they did not give it

SCAM.....

Caller: A woman with a (very) strong (sub-continent accent) masquerading as a member of the eBay Customer Service team

Tue 3 December 2019
The (very fast talking) woman, with a strong sub-continent accent assured me that if I wanted to void the $199 iTunes transaction, which had been generated from some IP address in Russia - that she, as a member of the 'eBay customer service team' could assist if I started by giving her my name. I explained that I was not prepared to do that. She INSISTED that I (or someone I knew) must have authorised the transaction. Clearly she was getting frustrated at the number of questions I was asking her. I explained that I considered this matter serious enough that I'd report it to the ACCC/Australian Government SCAM Watch team
https://www.scamwatch.gov.au
as they specialise in dealing with this kind of thing - and would make sure I gave them her number. Didn't wait for her to respond - just hung up.

They reckon my Ebay account was overdrawn. Then transferred me to another person who wanted my banking details to transfer money or my credit card details.
When I said no, got threatened with federal charges of fraud?!

Rang me to notify of Fake eBay activity on my account.
I don't have an eBay account.
Wanted to gain remote control of my mobile phone by installing QuickSupport app and then control my online banking app, login and password to transfer funds to the following: BSB - 062383, Account - 818638801. They than siphon off the money or refuse to refund it as it was a direct transfer.
