Caller type: Scam call

Caller: I don't who it was that called me, But I knew it was not who they claimed to be

The call recorder app on my phone recorded the following call i received, I've written her (the scammer) words as they sounded It's not my bad spelling.

Recorded voice call that I received claiming it's the ATO (tax office) informing me that my matter was very urgent and I should tend to it immediately or the police would come and arrest me and take me to jail, then the voice says press 1 on your phone to resolve the issue, not sure what the other options were but I just pressed the 1 strait away.

Now a live operator (female scammer) comes on and says "hello how can I help you" I said I don't know you called me so if you don't know then why did you call me? She then asks "what your name please" I say do you need my name or my tax number. She says "your name please" So I said my name is Wyatt, it's Wyatt Earp. She says "what what" I said no it's not what, it's Wyatt, my name is Wyatt Earp.

She then asks "You can spell name" I said sorry i missed what you said. She says "Name, you can spell name please" I said yeah i can spell so i spelled (J, I, M, M, Y). She then says "Jimmy, you name is Jimmy" I said no my name is Wyatt. She the says "Why you just tell you name Jimmy" I said no I did not say my name was Jimmy, It's Wyatt my name is Wyatt.

She then says "You name not What, you say Jimmy why you spell to me name Jimmy" I said Because you asked if I could spell a name, I said yes I can spell so I spelled a name "Jimmy" I never said it was my name, You didn't ask me to spell my name and I've told you 5 times my name is Wyatt, It's Wyatt Earp. My name is not Jimmy or What, it's Wyatt.

She says "Oh you make joke to me you tink you funny, You what, You not What, You not Jimmy, You like i send police to your house you make joke to police" I said no please no do not send the police again, Last time you sent the police they ate all of my F***ING donuts, Now what do you think i should do? claim the donuts as a tax deduction or just send you an invoice because I did not invite the police you the tax office sent the police, Anyhow they ate $12,000 worth of donuts so I'm glad you called me today, I comp"""""" (And that was that she hung up on me mid sentence)

I just received a call from this number (03) 9005 7528. Caller left a voicemail message saying" If you want to cancel a refund. Call us on (08) 8121 8488. Thank you. I assume that this is a scam, and have blocked the number.

They say they are from Ebay Help Desk and have spotted suspicious activity on account. Than want to connect mobile to their server for further information. This is not legit.

Claimed I needed to pay for a gift card immediately or “action” would be taken. I have made no such purchase. Terminated call.

Said he was from nbn, and the call was about my new nbn connection order. He was very well spoken for a black Indian scammer. I told him my nbn has been on for over a year and he said this was a new connection for my account. Don't fall for any stuff from this number.
