Automated call saying the taxation office had a warrant for my arrest, and to call number or else. Clearly fake scammers. Don't call back.

Had a voice mail message saying that if I didn't contact them back with my details i would be arrested. Was a computer generated voice.

Caller: Automated dialer (03) 9005 8245)

Had a automated call. Rang them back got a very heavily accented female voice stating from ATO and been audited and could be arrested. I said that anything from ATO should be in writing. She then got annoyed and hang-up. Scammers I think

This number left me a voicemail saying I would be arrested!!!

Called saying they're from ATO and there is an arrest warrant against me, and to go get a play store card from woolies. Idiots

Scammers indeed, called back before listening to voicemail, almost laughable and knew it was a scam once they started, so I gave them fake details to play with them and they still confirmed that I owed the tax office over $7000+, couldn't be bothered going through the BS that would come next, hung-up.

Same day - 4.45pm.
Did not call back.

I had a call from same number saying it is from taxation office and if I don’t call back to same number I will be arrested soon!

Voicemail saying a law suit launched and if don’t call an arrest warrant would be issued.

Automated message saying I have multiple lawsuits under my name and unless I call back a warrant for my arrest will be issued.

Surly this type of call breaks the law somehow? How are these people getting away with this!!

Agree clearly a scam.

(03) 9005 6245 - people trying to scam money for taxation purposes and threatening arrest. IGNORE THIS NUMBER.
