they constantly call here and as soon as you say your name in the phone introduction, they hang up on you. it has turned into a hang up game and is time wasting.

Received a call from "TKW" from (03) 8789 4477 - very polite Aussie female voice - saying she was doing a 20 minute survey on behalf of the NSW Government but she had no idea what department had asked TKW to do the survey - FAIL!

I said if she didn't know what department it would have to be a "No". It took a while for the "No" to sink in.

Annoying and very pushy - think they have the right to quiz whoever they please......and don't like NO for an answer. The number (03) 8789 4488 is a global market research company called Ipsos.

Market researchers are not doing sales so the "do not call register" does not apply and they are not breaking any law.
And if they are calling you it's because one of your companies you use are after feed back from their customers.

Australian Field Services. Now blocked.

I rang their customer service on (03) 8789 4444 Tony answered quite shocked when I asked him politely to remove my number from their system. He said he would comply and sms to confirm deletion.

If you don't know them and pretty sure you didn't give them your number
report them for privacy act breach
apparently the penalty can go up to 1.7 million

They rung my land line, I answered, told them I am not interested.
Three minutes later they rung my private mobile number.

Pretty sure it would be the job services providers selling lists. They make income out of selling lists they build up faking to find you jobs

Yes, me too. They call about 11am and 3pm most days, never leave any message, and I am on the Do Not Call register. Thumbing their dirty noses at the law.

She rings me almost on a daily basis and I'm over it. Says she is a research company and wants to speak to so-n-so when I ask what it's all about she hangs up on me. Why do these people waste their own time, let alone my time doing this? It makes not sense to me.

I rang back after hours since they rang me on a sunday morning sleep in. The message said welcome to the Knowledge Ware house incorporating ASS and CDM direct communications. I left a message advising that they were asked on 4/12/15 to remove my number from their lists and I am on a do not call register and they will be reported.

My wife gets this call all the time on her mobile but she never answers it. Thank you to you all for posting a comment so we now know who it is.

This is such a common problem, Jan. I work in community care and have clients who no longer answer the phone because of these calls, and that's undesirable and could be dangerous.

The best way to block calls from these annoying companies is to register your home phone and mobile numbers at www.donotcall.gov.au

they keep phoning my 93yr old father in law who gets very upset he has a problem of hearing but it gets him very worried the calls do as they just dont stop i wish they would leave this old man alone he is a beautiful man who dont need them to bother him
