Just got a missed call from this number and googled it too. This website came up, so thought I'd add to the list of reports.

i had a few times of this number called me to day and before, did not answer them, but still very annoying, the anz should do something about it, or refer to the police to check it out.

I am receiving these calls at least 5 per day, have not answered any and only got one voicemail message saying it was ANZ calling, plan to speak to them today and will advise them of this happening

This number kept calling me last year. i never answered. they have started again today. might get a whistle & blow it when i answer it.

Got a call from this number - ANZ - much like the other comments they wanted to know if we had any financial plans in the next 12 months, whether we had income protection, etc, etc. She didn't know where I worked or what I did and got my husband's name wrong - used his middle name, not his first name. If they really were from ANZ wouldn't they know where I worked (I had to put that on my mortgage loan) and don't you think they'd know that they were using his middle name, not his first name. Began to get a bit suss with all the questions - don't like answering that kind of thing when they call me so I said I'm actually at work right now - got stuff to do. End of call.
Legit or not? Might have to ask ANZ about it!

I have had a few missed calls from this number but they got hold of me this afternoon. I spoke to someone called Kiri who had a strong Indian accent. He asked me if there was anything ANZ could help me with or whether I had any plans in the next 6 - 12 months for a mortgage. I received the call via Mobile.

I have received several missed calls from this number over last week and a half. I decided to take call as I was curious based on details on this website. I am ANZ customer.
Caller identified herself as representing ANZ and wanted to know if I had time to answer a few questions on customer satisfaction and how they may improve their services for me. She knew my name, my partners name and my employer. She asked general questions about whether we had, needed or were planning to review our insurance - car, house, income protection, TPD etc. Asked whether we used or intended to use a financial planner, had any financial goals for next 12 months, financial goals for retirement. Asked whether she could arrange for ANZ to contact us regarding financial planning - to which I said no. Also asked if I had any feedback or current issues with ANZ. No questions about my accounts, account balances, credit cards, mortgage etc. More interested in the additional services.
Scam - may be, more likely ANZ has out sourced some (all?) it's customer service / target marketing and is sussing out customers for it's financial services products.

They obviously do not care about the "do not call register" as I am listed on there and they have been calling me for the last few weeks.

Yes, I've now had 3 missed calls from this number over the last week. I'm really glad I searched and found this site to know it was a spam call seeking information. It's easy if you're not with ANZ. Not so much if you are.

Just took a call from this number (they knew my name) and was told that it was ANZ calling to review my satisfaction as a valued customer....
Couldn't identify service or product I had with them (ANZ?) and said I'd need to provide details to them first, I said wouldn't be doing that and the caller (woman) said thanks and that ends our call. Seemed dodgey - checked the number and ended up here....

I had a missed call from this number just now and googled it, and I ended up here. I think I have answered it before though and yes stupidly given out details of a personal nature ie DOB etc because they said it was ANZ. Thanks for the info

This number rings me at 11:25 each day. When I answer I get no response. Need to work out how I can block them

This # has been hasselling me for the last couple of weeks. One time my phone whilst I was at work. I told them I wasn't available as I was in a meeting. I said what was it about they said nothing serious and they would call back later. And they have 3 to 4 times a day. Even on a Sunday night. I'm getting pissed of don't answer and even saved on my phone as ANZ ignore. Its really funny that I bank with ANZ asked I question about super advisors and now Im getting all these calls. If they don't quick I will be changing banks. Will be ringing head office tomorrow

Have received 2 calls from this number today for first time. Around 2.30pm and again just now at 8pm. Both times I have just answered with a "hello" without giving out my name as I did not recognise the number. Both times they have disconnected without saying anything. Funny I recently started banking with ANZ.

These guys keep calling me too. Thanks for this info..now I know I can ignore it.

Called me on my mobile today, I couldn't answer because I was at work. Popped the missed number into google and it brought me here. Very interesting reading the comments.

Had a call from this number & rang ANZ, definitly some sort of scam

I hung up on them yesterday because they were asking too many questions she then tried ringing me back 8 times in a row. Today they have tried ringing me 3 times already, i am starting to get very angry!!

Just missed a call from this number. For some reason i had the urge to google it thinking it might be my real estate. This website came up! Thanks guys now i now know to ignore this number. I would not have known this otherwise as im not from australia.
