I answered the call and no one said hello so I hung up. Called them back and got placed in a queue. I now have them on my phone reject list as well as blocked on the Who Called Me app. I recommend everyone who gets these spam calls to download it.

I've had this number along with numerous other numbers starting with 038640**** ring me flat out daily 5 or 10 times a day. I have tried to ring them back (not that I wanted to as I knew it would be a scam artist). These people wanted me to change my land line and internet service line etc when I explained I don't have either he hung up on me! Scam scam scam

I have been getting this call since Jan 2016. I even changed my number and still been getting these calls. I would answer and nothing. Called the number back and in a waiting line. Today i had enough! .. I rang back and was put on a waiting line.. no details on what the company is... i got through to a person. I told him, i am sick to death of getting these calls and no one answers, its like you hang up. I want to know who you are and what this call is about.. The man to talk to is Charlie, only 7-8 people in that call centre. They are electricity agents.. they are basically ringing to find out if you are currently getting 38% off your current electricity.. and sell you theirs. He also stated they call on a cheaper line so sometimes there is a drop out when it connects to the receiver. Ask him to remove your number. I am hoping this is the last of it...

I missed a call from this number this morning, called it back and they put me in a queue. So I have blocked them on my app and on my reject list on my phone. Either way they can waste their company money talking to my voicemail but the more calls I get, the more proof I have to file a complaint with the Ombudsman. Putting your number on the Do Not Call register will stop them. They are 2 years behind.

Absolutely a scam/marketing company. Rang them back and asked to be taken off their queue. An hour later they ring again. I am about to start the process of ringing them back and blowing a whistle down the line.

A repeated number of calls were coming through from (03) 8644 8233 and (03) 8683 5517 a few times a day, over a few days repeatedly, they never leave a message. I have answered their calls and within a few seconds they hang up! I have contacted these numbers with a private service and they are the same company apparently trying to sell you electricity with them which is much cheaper, and asking some personal questions. The company name is 'People Energy' (which can be googled online) and they are represented by 'Selective Offers'....whoever they may be! A formal complaint has been voiced. Once the call was over I received a prank call from them....how very professional.

This number is driving me crazy. I add it to my phone's reject list but calls come through. It is a call centre person with an indian accent. They have tried to sell me 35% discount on my phone line (I don't have a phone line) and also on my electricity bill. They are very aggressive and persistent.

Had a call from a marketing co. wouldn't tell me who they are calling on behalf of , wouldn't shut up either after telling them i'm not interested and they get angry with me for telling them i'm not interested either. They called, they interrupted me , they made me pull over to answer their darn phone call as I didn't know who it was at the time. These marketing co's ring morning, arvo, day, night enough is enough the next co to call me better answer to all my requests and better do as I say when I say don't ring me ever again that is what I mean. Seems they haven't listened. From this point on I will be suing them for interrupting my peace and holding up my line.

Have repeatedly told these f'wits to remove me from their calling list and blocked them but they are persistent bastards and call several times a day. What good is a do not call registry if it doesn't work? Grrrrrr

Download a blocking App like Mr Number or Call Blocker or True Caller to your mobile. There are plenty of them, They identify that it is spam or suspicious or a private number and automatically hang up. You can check the log later and identify it if you please.. If it is someone you know they will text you. Anyway it makes life easier

had this number 3 times in the last hour, I now have a msg on my answerphone saying I will not answer any calls from numbers I don't know due to unsolicited marketers once I check out the numbers on this website, I answer and don't speak so that they have to pay for the call.

Countless of calls per day/night. All about Electricity consumption. Will call again even when they have been cut off. I do not want this number to call me again.
