I've been getting calls from these jokers for a while now, I stupidly thought that information given to job agencies was confidential...not true.. until I put my number on their job applications my phone was used for emergencies in the family and nothing else. They also use (03) 8644 8233 and (03) 8644 8139. Make sure you block them all.

just will not leave me alone even when I told him that I was not interested and take my number of there call log, left me for about a week and the calls started again.

Full on cracked it. As I've had them call me multiple times. And asked to be taken off the list

Added to my blacklist today. I never asked for these calls regarding electricity, and nor did my husband. Sometimes they call us after 10pm - which is a very unfunny joke. Ignore them.

material to suggest that they are investigators contracted from either a bank, police or an insurance company, and using digital feed back from the call to establish the location of who they are stalking and all this likely in a non-legal manner and as harassment that get assumes to be just market research. Calls to me have gone back to a marketing from with a central system and that way the individual caller never gets identified

I have also received a call from them (People Energy) along with many other spam calls & emails I am now receiving after providing these details for a free Aldi gift card.....even after I did not proceed. WARNING...if you have reservations after filling out one of these online forms, or similar, try deleting the information before closing the window.

Called my mother stating her full name and address and asking about the power company she was with when told she didn't have power in her name he demanded to speak to the account holder when told she didn't live at those premises and lived with her daughter he denanded to speak to her he then started abusing her calling her a lier and when asked for he's details so he could be reported he abused her more

For the first time EVER I stupidly entered a Carnival Cruises Competition via Facebook, and as part of entering, it took me to a list of their "sponsors" to ask me literally 70 different questions, everything about insurance, through to food items. Even though I ticked "NOT INTERESTED" on every single survey request, I stupidly gave my real phone number (in case I actually win the initial "Carnival Cruises" Competition via Facebook) and ever since, have received literally up to 27 calls from many different third party companies that my info was clearly sold to!
Although I have blocked this number (and the other two numbers they use) I still get notified of each attempt to call me, and I still get 6 calls from morning through to 7:30pm at night! They are a Electric Company wanting us to change providers...

I recently registered on the DoNotCall Register, which they say takes 30 days to take effect, as well as sending an auto don't call firm in the website DataU.com.au as these are the ones that our numbers on. Take the time to go into www.datau.com.au and click on "privacy" tab, type your number into have it removed!
Biggest mistake ever was entering my personal details in the a damn competition... What the heck was I THINKbg!? Prior to this company, NOBODY ever pranked my number, as it is unlisted abd private. Now, Ice had to install a "Block Calls" App for these fools, yet they still call even though I've never answered

they just called me and as soon as i said hello they hung up :/

I called the number from my work phone, automated voice at other end, no mention of company, waited 4 minutes. Guy with an accent answered, still no company name. Asked him who had i called, couldnt understand, asked him how he got my number, said i filled in an on-line survey asking them to call for discount on Electricity Bill.

I keep getting 5 calls a day and no one says anything when I answer. Added to my blocked list but calls still come through! Definitely a spam number.

I am sick to death receiving these calls 3-4 times a day on my mobile. How do you stop them from calling, I have put block but still receive calls, very annoying.

Received a call for (03) 8644 8233 offering discount electricity. They had my full name but an address that I lived at three years ago. Consultant had an Indian accent and the background was very noisy. I challenged him about how he got my number and told me that I had completed a survey on 'bag an offer' website (I've never heard of this site and haven't completed any surveys in recent months), I then challenged him about when I did the survey, he said he didn't know and I said well you must know seeing as you have my name and address and telephone number.....I just kept screaming when did I do the survey over and over because he wouldn't answer me. It's annoying but funny when you challenge one of them.

They are trying to say I can have a discount of 30$ if I pay my electricity on time but has nothing to do with my current supplier. Asked for all personal details and when I refused they became aggressive. Will block them from my phone

It is from a company trying to sell electricity. I am already on the do not call register and explained that if I get another call I will contact the ombudsman.
