It’s a legit phone number. I called AGL to confirm. They apparently called To ensure I was getting the best deal, which I was. Don’t see why they were calling then....

They have called me today and claimed they are from AGL. Wanted my personal info and address.
Just to say I am NOT going to give any info over the phone if you are from AGL you should know my address.

Same as everyone else - they've left me a voicemail saying they're calling from AGL. When I called the AGL line direct, they had no record of the call.

Yes been getting these calls for a while now. Home phone & mobile. I rang number & very quickly a voice claiming to be from AGL was there. Dead giveaway as a scam call

A woman named 'Mary" claimed she was from AGL & wanted me to confirm my address, she told me my suburb, my name & my phone number. I didn't give her anything & wanted a number I could call back, as 'Mary' said she had better offers to give me & that was the point of her call. 'Mary' wanted to know my street & number & I asked 'Mary' to tell me my address & I would confirm it then, but she didn't. I phoned AGL on 131245 & they had no record of calling me today, but I did get another 2% off my electricity account which I greatly appreciated. AGL also said it could have been a call from a 'Broker'.

Same questions as above - knew my name and that I was with AGL but not my street or house number, wanted me to confirm that and my day and month of birth as they had the year. I challenged, he got frustrated, I asked for a link to where I could make these cryptic savings he had promised. I know I’m on the best deal and I’m happy and I told him. He says do you shop At Woolworths or Coles... I said Mate, I think everyone in Australia does. Back to the date of birth and street name/number lol! I said send me a link to my email and I’ll call you back! No go he wouldn’t budge. Wasted a bit of his time.

I got a call just now saying they were AGL. It's legit. I didn't give out any info, they knew my details. They told me what plan I was on & that it was the best one. They asked if I wanted to link my FlyBuys card & said I could call up AGL customer service or link my card online if I didn't feel comfortable giving him my details. His name was Harold & said he is in the Phillipines & works in the call centre for AGL. It's a legit phone call.

If you use "Mr Number" a phone/call blocker App you won't have to put up with the calls, I blocked them ages ago

THIS IS NOT AGL. Asked to confirm my address. Asked if I wanted to sign up for savings. Later asked if I wanted to donate to a Forrest Protection NGO. Don't trust anyone who asks for payment details unless you know the number for sure.

They have called me twice. The first was about a car accident in the last twelve months. They hung up when I started questioning them. The second kept asking 'Can you hear me David?' DO NOT answer them!
