Caller: Supposedly nbn receive as many as six calls a day
Will someone put a piece of lead in these bastards head and stop them wasting my time
Caller: Indian man "Deep"
Called about NBN. Very pushy. Knew my name and the school I work at. Asked for our address. Told me the NBN has begun works in our area and they need to make our phone line NBN ready. Advised that we'll be givin an unlimited quote for $79.99 a month. I could tell it was a scam, asked him for the address so I could send the money. He said "James why do you need my address, this is not a scam call." I said "I didn't say anything about a scam call" He said "Why are you talking about money then?" I said "well you said it will be $79.99 a month, where am I supposed to send the money. After some arguments he admitted I could pay by cheque. I said then what address do I send the cheque to? He said lets finish this application first then we can discuss that. I said ok send me the application in the mail and I'll complete it. He said ok goodbye and hung up.
Rings multiple times in one day sometimes 3 times after another, doesn't leave message on answering machine. Have reported to Telecommunications Ombudsman and lodged complaint with NBN service provider as they (service provider) state they cannot block this number. Sometimes receive Private call ie no number ID with same characteristics.

Some f king Indian accent about NbN roll out,
Called asking for the owner. Asked what it was regarding, and she replied "NBN". After trying to ascertain in what aspect of the NBN it was for so I could put her on to the correct person, she hung up on me.
FYI - I know it was a bullsh*t scam call, so tried to appear to be helpful while not being helpful at all (just in case management were around). I love messing with these people! LOL
I’ve had a few missed calls from this number, no messages left, last call was at 6am! Definitely blocking the number Caller was very cagey about who the company was. Mentioned it was about the NBN but was from a company 'Intex?'.. I was very polite saying I'm not interested however he persisted until I said I was going to hang up, which I did while he was still talking. Caller: nbn scammer
dirty inidan man only if police took the time to catch these low life scum
I called back the number (03) 8579 6707, rang 5x and got disconnected automatically Caller: NBN scammers
I've had 4 calls from these idiots in the last 2 days. Here are the numbers: (03) 8579 6707, (03) 8103 8680, (07) 1480 1949, (07) 1937 0646. All the same recorded message in a female voice. It's hard to believe that they haven't woken up to the fact that most people are aware what they are trying to do,
Caller: Melbourne Phone. NBN
Trying to advertise NBN and phone plans. Knew my address off the bat. Tried to make me confirm my details but i didn't tell them. Asked them where they got my number, apparently yellow pages lol. told them to take my number off the list and never call me back. some time later... they called me about 3 times within an hour. i pick up and they hung up straight away after every time. Very annoying. such a scam.
If you keep getting calls from these Oz based numbers, you can complain to: https://www.donotcall.gov.au/consumers/lodge-a-complaint/lodge-a-complaint/ NBN scam call, very pushy and wanted to sign me up for a service. I hung up after saying no and never to call again.

Don't listen to what they are saying or you will be falling to their traps.
Caller: An Indian
Scam, said your shop NBN will disconnected if you want to still connected have must pay fee. Calling business from Melbourne phone Number. AU government should rule that without ABN Rego, nobody should allow to buy virtual phone numbers.
Caller: Indian man from Intex
absolute scam trying to get me to switch providers because they are cheaper and NBN is a government initiative and they are a government provider. he was good, he got me all the way to giving my email and DOB, but then it clicked when he put me onto his 'manager' - saying they would send me a modem, i would be charged a one off fee only when the plan was active of $99 then $79 per month.
2nd time they've called my business looking for a residential resident (not me). Called my business, asked for the owner. I said I could help. He got me to write down his name, "Onir" in case I needed to get back in touch (as if!). Said it was about the NBN roll out in my street (now this is where it gets interesting - he quoted me the previous owner of our business number's personal name and street address) and that they would send me a new modem, but not to open the box. He said, "I humbly ask that you do not open the box." (Why..... will it be empty, by any chance???). A technician will then call me to set it up and then I would pay. Upon further questioning, he gave me his company name of IntEx ("International Exchange"), agreed that he was calling from India (But he had "spoofed" an Australian phone number) but couldn't give me any Australian address details. I called him out on the scam, especially over the suspicious box that I mustn't open!! Deny, Deny, Deny...
