Recieved call and no message left.

Keep getting calls from this number - have saved it in my phone contacts as 'Telemarketers - don't answer".. very very annoying...

when received on home phone:if you hear an audible click or music is is a maching and if you say hello you will be processed. if you sayhello lunibuckle (or some made up word the machine thins its a businers because if it doesnt receive a hello good evening or whatever, it disconnects.

if you are a busines:the same works in reverse. if the business is called "luibuckle" the machine expects to here hello lunibuckles or lunibuckles" i always andswere "unavailable" or suspicious call transfer/noises with hello and the moment you say it the machine disconnects.

I have a silent number and am on the do not call register so where did they get my number from?! I have had daily calls for weeks now where there is silence on their part for several seconds then it hangs up. I also have caller ID so when that comes in I ignore it but I also registered an official complaint about the number with do not call as it being harassment (because there isnt a person contacting you or message conveyed). You can also make a complaint to telstra as an "unwelcome call" /harrassment.

am constantly receiving calls from this number sometimes 2 times a day and wish it to stop

Do not call register advised that the company was calling for a charity and that the charity had to (amongst other things) identify themselves and give the recipient of the call opportunity to request they terminate the call/do not call (which they clearly do not do so I have asked for the case to be reviewed as breach of the act. They did however advise that this number belongs toCommunication Direct and stated,.. If you do not want to receive further calls from Communication Direct Pty Ltd, you may wish to contact the organisation directly regarding this matter via their main contact number (03) 8414 5602 or in writing to Level 1, 125 Langridge Street Collingwood.
Also I was told verbally by the DNCR operative that this company buys phone lists and then has a computer ring periodically to test whether the number is active (someone answers) and if so what days & what time so that they can work out which is apparently a cheap way to work out when someone will be home for them to have (a more expensive)human call and the operative suggested if you dont have caller id let all those calls go unaswered or to message service and eventually they will profile you as inactive and give up calling.
I did contact them direct and the the manger or whoever they were at first advised they were calling for the olivia newton john foundation. I got right into them about how it was actually a computer calling which to my interpretation of the act would be a breach of the act. They became defensive and then tried to interogate me as to whether I had ever received charity calls when I advised yes RSPCA they suddenly changed their story from calling for the olivia NJFoundation to saying they were calling for the RSPCA. They did agree to take me permanently off their list. This company is nothing but a bunch of ******

I too keep getting a message on m voice mail that I missed a call from this number.
I have blocked the call on my mobile phone.
Funnily enough I receive the call at 5.15pm on the last few days..

They call my mobile about 3 times per week. Every time I call them back I either get hung up on or a computer voice, "Memory is full"

Maybe its time for a class action in the high court to stop these unwanted phone calls & force the Government to change the laws. These Organizations only give a very small % to charity & the rest they live off on very high wages.

This number has almost called me every day this week! :(

I had the same problem this past week and when i rang it back, I got onto the answering service which provided another number. They are asking for donations for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer charity. If you call (03) 8414 5602, you can speak to an operator and they can take you off their system.

She said the reason the calls hang up must be "computer error"!?!?!

Called three times. Missed them - working!!! Called back, engaged. No message left.

They disturbed my afternoon nap!
