The calls on this number appear to be coming from somewhere in Caroline Springs or Sunshine, according to what info I was given by reverse search.
If this number does belong to Client Advantage (as stated in a previous post) then there may be some illegal activity going on with, potentially, a third party piggy backing on a legitimate business to generate telemarketing calls.
I don't know if this is possible.
I rang the number and was connected to an organisation in New Delhi called Advantage Group, or some such similar.
Definitely telemarketer.

Rude rude rude person called me and then hung up after I didn't want to answer a question.

This number rang my mobile this afternoon. The frightening thing is they had my full name!!!
Very invasive questions ... asking if I had life insurance, what was I insured for, how much were my monthly premiums were plus they even wanted the name of the insurance company, as well as asking for my email address. When I asked why they needed to know all my private information, their reply was I'm doing a survey!!
I obviously never gave out any of private details, I knew full well that she was trying to scam me one way or another. I asked her, "are you sure that you have the correct person, I think you must have the wrong number" .... She then replied "No, no, I am sure I have the right number, is this Mary" ... my reply was NO you are not speaking with Mary, this is Detective Jones of Fraud Squad in Queensland and this call is being recorded" .... the next thing I heard was ....*beep beep beep in my ear and she then hung up!!!! Apparently she didn't like the idea of talking to a Detective!

...so I asked them: "why do I need money when I'm dead?" .... "oh I see. If I don't get your insurance they'll leave my corpse out on the street to fester and rot!" Stupid people!

annoying, I have recently been receiving all types of random phone numbers. This one called asking for some other person's number, just told them wrong number and checked here to see the reports on this number.
