Insurance Line survey I answered "Hello?" repeatedly. Finally a male voice answers "Hello. Is this (my name!!!)?
I asked bluntly "Are you selling Insurance?" Male answers, "Well...this is a call about Insurance."
I answer,"Goodbye", and hang up.
Soooo sick of these companies who constantly change phone numbers leaving me with a blocked number list which could reach to the moon and back!
Picked up, I said hello and they hung up. Argh frustrating! Rang. I picked up first ring - phone in my hands - said hello four times before being hung up on. yet another telemarket phone number !
Just another 1 to the ever increasing list
Simple. If you don't recognize the number don't answer it. pick it up, no one talks To all who get called...telemarketers buy your number from various companies who collect databases from online surveys you do. Don't give any info online and the calls will stop stupid telemarketing for insurance Received a call from this one, asked for my wife... They called even though my number is listed on the DNC register. Called on a Saturday afternoon. Did not leave a message. no caller on other end. leaves no message they rang my husband's number and asked for me by name. I am on the do not call register. Insisted on asking me about Insurance Line. I refused, asking how they had the phone number and my name - was told my number was supplied by Australian Data Services. They tried to get me to talk about insurance but I asked to end the call. Very annoyed at this underhand way of getting to talk to someone who doens't wsh to be called! And very annoyed at Australian Data Services, who is clearly selling our private information! Yes, I agree. Now, if I don't recognise the number I let it go to voice mail on the understanding (my understanding) that if the call is important, the caller will leave a message. When they never do, I know I was correct in not answering the call. Insurance line telemarketing. Hang up. no thnku Telemarketing Recieved call, they started talking about insurance, I said I live at home with mum and dont drive why would I need insurance? they then started repeating the same script!
I have reported there number via my phone (samsung lets me report and block numbers super easy!)
