They pretended they were called 'Jemena' and gave some dumb story about wanting information on some kind of gas pipe maintenance which we'd never had.
It annoyed me that they'd got my name and address from somewhere.

Guys it's not illegal for a market research firm to call even if you are on the do not call register as they are not selling anything !!!! Stop signing up for sh*t online and you will not get these calls. They only call when you have registered for something in the past and left the box which says ' I authorise company x to pass on my details to companies with related products/services'.

Keep calling on a Sunday arvo. Leave no message. When I try and call back the number is always engaged.

A bit sus. Rings on a Saturday arvo of the long weekend claiming to be doing a survey on behalf o f the Port Phillip City Council. If they were fair dinkum they wouldn't want to skew a survey by excluding those away for the weekend and more importantly the sizable jewish population of port phillip by calling on shabbat.

I declined

Also receive phone calls on my Telstra prepaid service every so often from (03) 8330 6056 for what i have presumed to be a marketing firm. I am also listed on the DNC register

Recd call whilst in church this morning, I declined call no message left, and mobile is registered on DNC.
