God Damn Telemarketing!

Telemarketer xall centre re: quick survey about transportation in my local area.

I received a call from this number around 1.30 pm on Saturday from a female claiming to be conducting a survey for our the ACT Government. Revealed that she was based in Melbourne and their company is authorised to conduct surveys for local Government's all over Australia. The survey obtains data to help local Governments plan infrastructure. I decline to participate in the survey because she had contact an unlisted number and she was not able to provide the source that provided these details to her. While she had my number she had no reference to my number or any idea where I lived. She also did not identify her self or the company she was working for. She however did provide me with a contact person who authorised the survey, John Roberts, (03) 9890 8440. After investigating this number, I discovered it belonged to:

Just received a call from this no. which I didn't pick up. I've talked to them before. They're phishing for the chance to rip us off. I suspect the Melbourne number is a fake for a call centre in India or the Phillipines or some such.

keep getting calls from this mob - I don't answer calls I don't recognise so you are wasting your time - AND I'm on the DNC for that very reason

Caller claimed to be putting together some sort of community focus group on behalf of Manningham Council. Wanted to ask questions. We don't live in City of Manningham. BOGUS!!!!!

Received a call asking for my partner by name. WTF? Still peddling their crap - even worse is that I'm in Sydney and it's a Vic number.

Steph, the point is that people have their numbers put on the DNC because they don't want to be harassed. Nobody gives a toss whether it's legal or not.
Choosing to step up harassment when a justly aggrieved person is 'horrible' to such a scumbag is why nobody minds when a market researcher falls down a lift shaft.

Claimed to be Bureau of Meteorology. Called on a Sunday morning.

Some BS Survey for QLD Govt... I'm not even in QLD...Loosers.. I Told them:

" NO THANKS.., WHAT EVER LIST YOU'VE GOT MY NUMBER FROM REMOVE IT NOW. IF I GET A CALL AGAIN FROM THIS NUMBER YOU WILL BE REPORTED AND FINED AS I'M ON THE DNC REGISTER".. " ...." I'VE NO TIME FOR BS SURVEYS".

Keeps calling all the time. Not happy.

This number keep calling my mobile at the strangest of times.. I don't answer unknown calls so I don't know their intentions but they never answer any texts
