Rang mobile and home phone and continually hangs up, all different time of the day

Called my mobile at 2:45pm today and didn't leave a message, I called back, he said hello, then hung up on me half way through me asking who he was.

Answered their call - they just hung up? Checked on here, so will ignore it in future

Just received call from this number and as soon as i pick up they hang up.

Received the call 2x yesterday 3/10/2012 but did not answer. He did not leave a message either. Thanks everyone for giving the same experience.

Same here, had now 4 calls in 4 days, they hung up the only time I picked it up and I have them now on auto reject on my phone. Pesky alright!

Just had a call on my mobile from this number, some spiv claiming to be from Optus (and my mobile is not on Optus). I didn't give him a chance to say what he was trying to sell before I told him to bugger off.

Got repeated call from this nutcase arsehole around 1pm everyday claiming to be from Optus and running some kind of ipad promotion. Keeps on calling and then immediately hangs up

Called me today, hung up as soon as I answered.

Got a few missed calls today, thanks for everyone posting now I know its spam and I dont tneed to call them back!!

They hung up as soon as my hubby answered the phone. Sick of spammers and telemarketers calling full stop - but it really annoys me on OUR WEEKENDS!

Called me... Someone with an accent claiming they are from Optus yet I'm with Telstra. Told them before they started I wasn't interested and then hung up. They have been calling me every second day around the early evening but I'm not answering. I wish they would bugger off. Any advice on who to complain to about spam phone numbers???

Yep they called my mobile a few times as well. I dont answer numbers i dont know.

Had a private number call my mobile yesterday which i answered and they hung up straight away then just had this number call me then and do the same thing hence why i googled it.
