I rang this guy back 10 times and played the "kinko the kid loving clown" song to him. He doesn't want to talk to me any more...............

Received the same message from the "Australian Taxation Department". A couple of hours ago, similar message from (02) 9099 5755. Both are scams (or the ATO has a huge problem with staff).

Same thing, tax evasion, also had one the next day but they left an 02 number

Male with Indian accent name is Jason O'Connor, claiming to be from the ATO department. Asked me to ring back on (03) 6107 9610 or the police would serve me with a warrant for arrest for tax evasion. Obviously this is a scam!

I had a call From Jason O'Connor Saying he was from The Taxation Office and that my local police would be calling on me with a warrant for my arrest for tax evasion

Message from tax office re law suit over tax evasion on old home - threatening call that a police officer from our local police department will issue a warrant for my arrest. Caller gave name as Jason O'Connor and return contact number of (03) 6107 9610. I did not return call.

Male with Indian accent claimed to be from the ATO left message on answering service twice in 1 hour. Asked me to ring back or the police would serve me with a warrant for arrest for tax evasion.
Checked with the ATO, they took details to investigate scam.
