I rang the number and left a Voicemail Message stating that if they Contacted my Number again I would lodge a complaint with the ATIO. Have not had a call from them since.

Sorry Joel, I should have thought before I spoke, there are a few "Y Gen" that give you all a bad name as in everything, including my "X Gen"! I think I just let of some steam.
It seems as I get really pissed of with these so called researchers as you do, So please accept my apology.
These people surely can research markets etc without harassing phone calls. Computer generated calling systems should be banned.

Still getting calls though all overseas numbers blocked (free from Telstra, nuisance calls), never leaves message. Can't stop nuisance calls at all on mobile, Gov't won't allow it, where is respect for my privacy?????

Market researchers hey?
They have been calling me many times a day for years, half the time you run to the phone and they hang up.
They just tried to call me today (Saturday at 4.00pm) - they never give up - this computer generated calling should be BANNED).

Don't these marketing research companies realize that 99% (maybe 100%) of the Australian people are downright PISSED OFF with their antics?
All of these computer generated / auto dialing systems should be BANNED and DESTROYED, they are a tool for encouraging a gross invasion of privacy.
My personal details must be on a world wide market research list or "piss him off list". If these companies want to research the population, they should look at a wide section of the population - not just a few and piss them off.
I have been getting calls from this company (and others like) at least twice a day for many years now, you'd think they'd give up and try and hassle some one else!

Someone said they do not recall phone numbers - NOT TRUE, the've been pestering me for about 2 weeks now. Been ingnoring them right from the start as I googled the number after the 1st call.

Answer to stop them calling you is EASY.Do what i just did and tell the person who calls to f*ck OFF....Simple as that

They call me on my unlisted mobile, usually this is when I am driving. As I have a seriously ill relative I stop to answer the call in case it is from a family member. The phone is on the do not call register, but they say they are exempt. How they got my number I have no idea. Have asked them to stop calling me, will wait and see if they do, if not I'll have to consider my options.

Judging by a lot of the remarks here people obviously dont understand how the Do Not Call register works https://www.donotcall.gov.au/ try reading it in full and you will discover that ""Some groups can still contact you after you register. These include charities, research companies, political parties and educational institutions."" Also if you fill in online questionnaires ,donate to charity or sign on -line petitions chances are that one of theses companies will get your number .

Calls the same time everyday, hangs up instantly when answered! Call back told no one available leave a message. Not good enough!

It's bad enough answering calls from my friends at this time of night, !
