Been getting the same calls from (02) 9191 1653 for the last 3 weeks, 3 to 4 times a day, started after I picked-up the call 3 weeks ago, the guy at the other end was claiming he was from CitiBank selling life insurance, didn't want to end the call even after I told him I already have a life insurance from elsewhere, so I asked him to email me the information, then he asked me for my email address, so I told him if he was really from Citibank, he would have my email address on file already, he said he just wanted to confirm my correct email address, I didn't give it to him, no email from CitiBank selling insurance since, but the calls have kept coming 3-4 times a day every day. Before this, I used to get similar calls from at least 3 different numbers, REALLY HAD ENOUGH OF THESE HARRASSMENTS!

I have been harrassed for two weeks with up to five calls in one day. I have left a message that if I receive another call from them I will be going to the Police I have all their calls logged on my phone. This is getting beyond a joke

Hey chaps, It's actually not a scam. However, it is greatly annoying and should be avoided. I recently had an unauthorised transaction on my Citibank credit card. I called up and cancelled my card etc., but just before I hung up I was told I would be called regarding life insurance and other Citibank insurance products. It's just them. So like I said, no scam - but equally annoying!

just got a call form this number claiming to be from Citibank and was selling life insurance. He even knew my birth date, which he asked me to confirm... towards the end he asked for my account details, which I didnt give. When I called back the number, it was a recorded message asking to leave my contact details and a Citibank representative would call me back.

This is the same Citibank scam as reported for (02) 9191 1620. It's disturbing these people have got hold of enough customer details to fish for more.
