Based on the numbers of comments above , seems to be a public nuisance . What does it then say about our government who allows a communications platform to invade our privacy, and not only allows for potential fraudulent activity, but regulating the system that condones it.

Came up as Sydney, NSW. They have called 2 days in a row. Did not answer. No message left. I called back and it was just a dead sounding line. Total silence.

pest calls that phones my home land line and hangs up when phone is picked up, monday to friday, sick of this

Scammer left me a voice message because I was busy and didn't pick up my phone. In the recorded message it was a threatening message about arresting me if not returning the call. It was a pre-recorded computer readout message via a computer voice.

Female escort calls from this number to be a nuisance. She is mentally unstable.

I'm on the Do Not Call register but it seems they decided to call and wake me up anyway. I didn't answer, but when I got up later and checked here I'm glad I didn't as it seems this number is for Hotfrog. Thanks to those that listed it on here, because now I can block it. I had a call shortly after from 0435 805 762 but I don't know if that is related to them, ,because I didn't answer it either, but it certainly isn't anyone I know either..

Hard to block on land line, who do theses people get connected to start with, its about time it all stopped, lucky i dont know were they are, they need a visit with a heavy hand
