Caller: Coles Financial Services
After receiving numerous missed calls from Coles Financial Services, I answered one yesterday and some woman who I could barely understand rattled on about a special offer just for me. Needless to say, all the alarm bells started to ring and I told her that I did not act on unsolicited calls and that I suspected that call to be a scam and hung up.
I then went to the Coles Financial Services internet site to alert them to those calls, saying that I believed them to be scam but if they were not, they should be discontinued.
I received a response from Citigroup this morning confirming that the calls originated from them and I could 'opt out' by doing so through their internet site.
Well, rather than doing this, I wrote an email to Coles to complain about Citibank (probably the worst bank in Australia), it is up to Coles to instruct the provider to stop harassing customers!
I called back number (02) 9037 2532 reached voice mail for a company called Cole Financial Services. Persistently calling me, which I'm not answering. Funny how they never leave a message, they're just a missed call. If citibank keep this type of harassment going I will go back to my previous provider. At least get telemarketers who can speak just a little English. Must be idiots. In all of the years I have had my Coles Mastercard there has never been a problem - until the event of citibank. first reaction this was a scam had lots of my details kept wanting me to confirm the data caller Phillapino but local nsw number sent alarm bells ringing ....not a good look for Coles .... turns out it was legit to allay my fears rang CFS on 1300 number was a loan offer @8.9%

Coles have never called me before about an update on my Coles Mastercard. I suspect it is a scam.

Called at 19.57 - I answered it with caller speaking very poor English. Said they were from Coles asked if I could see the number they were calling from (I think to try to demonstrate it was legit!) and then said the call may be recorded. I remained suspicious and when they said they were from Coles calling about a rate offer, I just said I wasn't interested and hung up. I do have a Cole CC but if they start to harass me I wont for much longer!

I received a phone call from this number and nobody was on the line. I said hello a few times and still no answer, so I hung up. I typed the number into Google and found all of these complaints. Thank you !
I do have a Coles credit card. They sent me an email asking for me to tell them my occupation and nationality via the secure messaging system. I queried why they need to know this information and, if it was important, why isn't it a field in my online profile. Their response was dodgy. Go away ...
I keep getting calls from this number around about 10 calls over the last couple of weeks, almost every day. I don't answer because I don't know the number and they never leave a message. It is particularly annoying. Caller: As above : Coles Financial

Coles Mastercard was recently taken under the wing of Citibank, these calls started soon after. Its Citibank who are the puppetmaster.
Why don’t you leave a message? 2 calls from this number. They never leave a message and I never answer. I don’t have a Coles credit card but I do have FlyBuys that I use at my local Coles. Long beep then hang up, I have blocked them 2nd call from this number. I never pick up and they never leave a message
