Vodafone Mother f*ckn scammer Caller: (02) 9015 3804
Answered the call, nothing after 5 seconds then loud beeps. Hung up, then another number 9015 3555 called straight after. Ignored. must be spammers surely.
called from Vodafone they asked for a name and to speak to that person but if it was omn their system they would have a hold of the main person account?
My wife received a text message on her mobile but addressed to me. Claimed to be Vodafone wanting to update our plan. Scam. Caller: Clamis to be vodafone
Asked for my hubby since the sim is in his name, when I asked him to call back he insisted that I tell my name.
Yes I can verify that this phone number is Vodafone's they call you to upgrade your contract and yeah it's legitimate it's not a scam
Caller: Fake Vodafone
Claims to be vodafone, ive now received the call twice. Asks for a pin and tells me some ridiculous sounding plan. Sends the sms at the same time. But the AU is in the wrong spot in the text message. At least they tried.
It's fkn Vodafone trying to get you to ugrade you mobile plan, cnts.
Claimed to be from Vodafone, asked for my PIN. I reply why?...and keep requesting the PIN number. I hung up, evident scam, votafone calling to change my plain, I don't care honestly... Sick of them asking. Caller: Vodafone
This is actually a Vodafone call centre, however I believe that what they are doing is wrong and counter to any reasonable security expectations, because you have no way of knowing it is Vodafone, and they ask you to provide your PIN number before they will speak with you. And they "you're speaking to Vodafone" text can be easily spoofed.
So, the reality is that they are teaching their customers to be hackable - because if I was a scammer, I know to call Vodafone customers and ask for their PIN, and they've been taught to tell me it. Shocking security strategy by Vodafone, and likely puts them at legal risk if customers are scammed in the future using the same technique!
Sounded like a scammer, said he was from Vodafone and that he wanted to let me know about the new plans available and changes to my account. He also requested my PIN number. it kept asking me for my vodafone PIN. I said I couldn't remember and the person asked me to guess it three times. Caller: Scammer
Person from Vodafone claiming to have a new plan for me and everyone on my data plan. High pitched noise at the beginning- which obviously I knew was an auto message- and then some guy asked for my pin.
Supposedly Vodafone. I answered the phone to silence, then there was a strange sound as if connecting, the caller asked if I was on the line. I had to say hello again. Caller had a thick Indian accent, said they were Vodfone and directly asked for my pin so they could tell me the latest offers. I replied I would look them up online. Caller virtually demanded my pin. I said no thank you I'll look the offers up online.
IF this IS Vodafone, they need a better approach.
Caller: This number calls me sayin its vodafone
They want your PIN number they scammers and do not sound professional at all SCAM for dure
Got a call from this number just now from a call centre saying it is Vodafone. If it is Vodafone I will never agree to any up selling, plan change etc over the phone. If I want something I will make contact. Stop these rubbish calls. No one on the other end when I've answered the call. Comment has been removed
