This number called me twice and I didnt answer. I can see from the messages on here that it is a scam via Vodafone...something seems very odd though, as I had called them earlier today about my phone plan... Caller: vodafone
This is legitimate. He called me to offer me a better deal on my mobiles and ended up saving me heaps of money. They ask for your pin to access your acccount and have all your details. he never asked me for money and when i said i wasnt ready to sign up yet he said thats fine you can go to any vodafone store for the same offer.. Yes he was indian but all was good. not a scam
Caller: (02) 9015 3555
The Vodafone website promotes this number as being their own number. So it is legit. Look for yourselves. https://www.vodafone.com.au/support/contact/customer-care
Caller: (02) 9015 3555
Some Indian guys asking me for my pin. So I said 'Bye' which was quite polite of me considering the proposal.
Caller: (02) 9015 3555 claiming to be Vodafone
Caller (Male from India) claiming to be from Vodafone. Because my plan is nearly up, he said he wants to give me a better deal. They have also sent a text to verified that they are from Vodafone. So I gave him my PIN (Silly me), but he was a bit pushy with the offer so I said I need to check with other offers out there before I decide. So he said can I call you when you have done your research. Once I've read info on this site, I rang Vodafone and changed my PIN. Vodafone has also confirmed that "(02) 9015 3555" is not their number. But on the Vodafone website, it is a legit number ??? "https://www.vodafone.com.au/support/contact/customer-care" . I don't know what to believe anymore. But to be safe don't give them any information when asked as you don't know if they are legit or not.
Left a voicemail i could barely understand. Knew my name but didn't announce themselves so only know they are possibly from Vodafone from this site. Left a number to call back their 'customer service' which I couldn't understand. They want to look after my needs. 🤣 Guess I miss out then. Oh dear Caller: Vodafone
Not a scam. It’s vodafone customer service
Caller: Call Centre
It is a scam. They said they were from Vodafone and said i had requested a call back. I didnt request a call back and i disconnected from them after someone hacked my account and ordered a new phone under my name. They asked me for my full name and pin number - probably so they could scam me again (it was defiantely an inside job). I told the lady i wasnt with vodafone and to never call my number again. she apologised and said she wouldnt.
Caller: (02) 9015 3555
The fact that the caller from this number can appear to text you from the same number you have been getting your other Voda notifications is not proof. I'm pretty sure that a half decent scammer can 'spoof' that number and send you a text appearing to also be from the legitimate Voda messaging number ...and your mobile phone will organise it in line with all of the other legit Voda messages. If this was actually a Voda subcontractor call centre, they are failing miserably. Do not give out your pin.
Wanker called at 7am waking my family up Caller: “Vodafone”
This number is a scam. People here telling that this is a legit Vodafone hotline is also part of the scam. Never give your PIN via phone call! Stay safe everyone!
Not a scam, but originally thought it was. This is very bad news for Vodafone’s reputation- if they think this will set them apart then good luck. Based on this list alone they’re just pissing off their own customers- great approach - but what’s the real cost?
Its Vodafone, i asked them to verify that they are actually Vodafone. He sent me a TXT and i received it to where i usually get my Vodafone TXT from.
Then I called Vodafone after and they can verify that TXT was sent from the same system at the exact same time as well. It's a way for them to verify themselves.
I've been getting calls from this number EVERYDAY for the past WEEK! Finally decided to just block them after reading the experiences here. So annoying!! called me at 4:54 in the morning! if they are from Vodafone call centre in India, they should be aware when the people from Australia are sleeping. While I believe this to be legitimate (*), it's a nuisance call from a very motivated salesman trying to sell me on a plan I don't need, w/offer of a tablet I don't need.... (*) I refused to confirm my PIN, but separately got a legitimate TXT from vodafone confirming I would be getting the call. Caller: (02) 9015 3555 Vodafone
This number is safe. It's from Vodafone technical support. I have been waiting for the follow up call after I had a problem with my phone settings.
When you call it back, message clearly says it's Vodafone and they will call again, follow by a miss call message.
It's not a scam
They called me regarding a coverage complaint that I made earlier in the day. They asked for my PIN in order to verify the person they called. How stupid can they be. Told them I would not give them my PIN. So they told me to call 1555 to get an update. The idiots called me, if they cannot verify me in other ways then we are at a stalemate.
This is a legitimate call from Vodafone as this time they had sent a message few days before advising that they would be calling from this number. Although when i got the call i was a bit vary and didn't give them any correct information. then I checked the number from the sms i had and it matched. SO the next time they called from another number ending in 3555 which seemed to be from Vodafone and it was same guy from earlier. Just the annoying part was that he asked for all my information which I was not 100% sure to give. SO after around 30 mins on the call i disconnected. Then later just to confirm I called Vodafone Customer service and asked them they had contacted me or not. The lady confirmed that that was indeed a legitimate call as she could see the notes from him. Next day the guy called again and this time I gave all the information and now my plan has been upgraded and all is well :)
Repeated calls from this number and (02) 9015 3804. Call centre wanting to upgrade my network plan. Called back using service number from my phone and asked for password reset and verification of previous calls.
Legitimate call - it's Vodafone up-selling to their existing customers
