Just got a call from this number, they say I registered my details for a competition and they were confirming my entry.
I mentioned I didn't register anything but they ignored me and kept talking.

so I ended the call

They rang yesterday on this number (02) 8015 6963, I didn't answer, found out it's a scam, so I blocked it.
They rang today on this number (02) 8599 0131, so have blocked it again.
They must eventually run out of different Telstra lines :(

Picked up there was silence and then they hung up...have called each day for 3 days

They keep ringing and I block the number and then they call on a different number so I block that also, hopefully they will run out of lines for me to block soon

I just used the phone number of Cohort Australia who are the people that run Winning Choice to register for every possible call they have while telling them that I am a retiree who is currently earning over $250000 a year and drive a merc. Hopefully they will spam themselves for a change.

3 missed calls, no message left, finally answered one, had a 2 second delay then telemarketing noise in the background so hung up. Number now blocked

Once answered, there is a auto message read out by a machine. Indicated this call is from Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Australia.
Total BS.

100% scam they kept on calling me today 10 times

Why and how can they get away with it. They are numbers provided to clients supposedly in Australia. So Telstra can block but apparently chooses not to.

Which makes me conclude that it belongs to an organisation with legal standing in Australia. Security organisation maybe? If not then Telstra is complicit in communication harassment.

These numbers have called me 3x a day for the last 4 weeks!
I only return a call if someone leaves a message - all people important will leave a voicemail. So I know this is a scam/telemarketer as they are persistent with all the numbers but never leave a message.

Possible scam?? Annoying, they have rung 5 times in the last 2 days from different numbers and I am on the do not call register!!!

Say I won a prize but no prizr forthcoming. Where is my prize?

I get numerous calls from (02) 8599 0131, (07) 3606 0825, (07) 3319 1524, (02) 8020 1210, 020034369. they ring my house then my mobile. We are on the no call list. I get fed up. We ignore the calls, but they still come day after day, night after night.
have blocked them but they seem to find a way through.
