I have been talking to them off and on for nearly a week telstra nbn...all good it's the NBN people from Telstra calling about technician appointments It's Telstra, regarding an NBN connection that you have already ordered or might be waiting for updates on. telstra This is actually the Telstra NBN connection team. They follow up on transition/new orders if the customer has not connected their modem up yet. I had the same call today and asked for the person's staff ID. I then promptly searched her ID via our internal links and confirmed her details. The landline number provided is the Telstra NBN Case Management team. You should not be worried about this call, ask for their D Number (staff ID) or a interaction reference number so you can call 13 22 00 if you are afraid to verify yourself. Two calls from this number to my Landline, but silence when I answered. They then called my mobile number but cut that call quickly before I could answer. Extremely SUSS. Where did they get both numbers from? Is Telstra NBN This is definitely Telstra NBN. I didn't answer at first then received a text saying my Telstra order has been completed, which is true as I self installed the modem yesterday when the connection was complete at the node. Foreign male phoning at 8.30PM EST claiming to be from Telstra NBN and wanting household to go on line to install. Also Told we now have a new email address and our phone number of over 30 years would be taken and a new number allocated. Hung up Nerssia just rang now saying she is from telstra ,i said you are a scam she tried to tell me thats not the case, i said i dont believe you crook!! And hung up. She sounded indian. Contacted Telstra. This is not Telstra been advised is scam Telstra about NBN setup Does not provide any Telstra ID.
Should not need your security ID when they ring you.
This is a scam to get info out of you.

I called back number (02) 8260 0000 reached IVR of company called Telstra NBM case management . It's a Telstra NBN account manager. Do not ignore them, there try to help connect you. Cheers DAVE Keeps asking for another name and I keep telling them they have wrong number. They call several times everyday I called back (02) 8260 0000 reached IVR saying Telstra NBM case management. Tried the option 0 but then line just rang and no one answered the call.
