I've decided not to answer numbers I don't know - they always seem to be from Citibank, a charity or Microsoft! THE WORLD IS FULL OF SCAMMERS! Advice to others - NEVER GIVE ANY PERSONAL DETAILS WHAT SO EVER TO A COLD CALLER.
I get hassled every day (land line and mobile)- ridiculous!

Same - missed call from this number this morning (no message left) then another call I just answered, they said Citibank so I hung up. Googled number and found this page.

Keep getting calls from this number and another (02) number. Both keep hanging up on me once I say hello. I just either "end call" before picking up or just letting it ring out. I will not answer any calls from (02). If they want me, they can damn well leave a message.

This number continues to call and is relentless. I spoke to them today on a very dodgy line and told them I want them to stop calling me. Said they were from Citibank confirming my contact details, but I already know for a fact my details are fine.

Same deal as others - asked for me to confirm my details. I obviously didn't buy it and told them I wasn't interested and hung up. I promptly rang CitiBank and they confirmed no one had called me and that it was indeed a scam. Concerning though that the scammers have my full name and know I have a CitiBank account.

Add them to your phones blacklist - you will never get bothered by them again.

I've had two missed calls from this number quite close together. One call they hung up after 1 ring.

Just received a call from this number on my mobile. "Please hold the line while your call is being connected"
For starters, I don't hold the line for someone that has called me. I have answered the call before in the past (while busy), they've claimed to be from "Citibank" , asking me account security questions. I've informed them "I don't conduct account enquiries when a bank calls me. It's a security issue. If a bank needs to contact me, they have my postal address".

This number has been calling me twice everyday for the last 2 months. After reading the posts here, I have never answered their calls but it is really annoying.

Getting calls every few days at different times of the day. When I have answered, I hear nothing but silence. I assumed it was to gain intelligence of the best time to call particular numbers, so that the information can be sold to marketers.

Same deal as everyone else - this number also called me at 630pm with a Filipino-American recording telling me to hold the line then silence. I've had a few other calls too with silence at the beginning of the call so I hang up. Don't take the call, it's a scam.

I just called Citibank, after receiving a call from this number twice in 15 minutes, and not leaving a message. It is Citibank trying to get you in on their latest promotion. Citibank has now listed me as to not be contacted, so if you are a Citibank customer just ring them and tell them that you dont want to receive promotional calls

Sounds dodgy

Just received a call from this number. As with all the comments before, an American/Filipino accent claimed to be from Citibank with a "reward that could save me hundreds of dollars". Call started by them asking to confirm some personal details including my date of birth. When I refused and said this sounds strange, they suddenly thanked me and hung up. Dodgy.
