Like everyone else, have had this call. THEY ARE BOGUS - THEY ARE NOT Citibank, was sus right from the start (banks dont call you) I gave false security question answers, just made them up (DOB, mothers maiden name)and they confirmed them as correct and continued to go ahead with a special "deal". Hang up!!!!

Relax people. It is Citibank. They wanted to offer me a credit limit increase. Its annoying but its legitimate.

Recieved two missed calls from the above number in a row. The first call rang for seconds before I could reach for my phone on the desk! The second call was seconds later and I grabbed the mobile and there was a dial tone after answering as if I was calling out. Call ended seconds later. Unknown who it is from.

Have had several missed calls from this number and message recording when i call back says " It's CitiBank Calling, not urgent, we will try again later". When i contact CitiBank - they have no notes or notice of any call attempts on my account.
I today got to answer the call from this phone number and some man named "Ahmic" proceeded to laugh when i said he was fraudulent and told me he would provide his CitiBank ID Number - i simply hung up as i know it is a fraudulent call after reading previous comments.

Had a call from this number yesterday - garbled voice unable to distinguish any clear words. They didn't call back when I hung up. Called again today but I pushed to voice-mail - no message left.

This number is from Citibank. They have been calling me nearly everyday sometimes twice a day for the last 3 weeks. When I answer the line is blank and when I have tried to call it back and there is a recoring saying I have missed a call from citibank and that they will call me back. I do not even bank with them, infact I have never had dealings with them at all. Feeling very harrassed but do not really know what to do from here.

I had them phone about 3 times today, each time I had some recorded American voice say, 'please hold the line, we are connecting your call'. Then it tells me it cant connect and they will try again later. Number has been blocked in my phone now. Scamming A$$ holes.

Keep getting calls from this number always between 11 AM and 12 PM. Best to add to Reject Call list

Hey guys n gals, chill. I had a couple of calls ( yes, intrusive, unsolicited) but they were not trying to get security info....they knew it ALL. Also, they were "selling" Citi product .... Zero interest, raising the credit limit, upgrade card etc. one of their offers took my fancy and I agreed. A week later, no show and I thought ( with your posts help, SCAM. But NO, the paperwork and offer came through today. They are a bona fide Citi organization or agent. No skin off my nose and no hidden costs or rip off. As I said, Chill

I have added the number to my mobile contact list with name IGNORE so when they phone it pops up and I know to not answer. Getting sick of 3 calls a day for last 2 months.

Calls me everyday! Over it. I never answer as I do not answer numbers I do not know. I have message bank and a message is NEVER left. I have a general policy that if a message ain't left then you don't want to speak with me and it ain't urgent. So damn annoying. And they always ring while you are in an important meeting or with a client.

I have a call from number 61720207 saying it is the Australia taxation number . he wanted my details but was unable to estabilished to whom he wanted to talk to the reciprent

Citibank related but too many calls for marketing purposes. Maybe got hold of the Citibank database???????

Citibank (I do have an account with them) - they didn't ask for any security info and they knew my name. Trying to get me to sign up for personal loan and credit cards.

I believe this is a marketing company associated with Citibank. I recently opened an account with Citibank, and then I started getting calls from this number
