I just had the same phone call on my work phone, claiming they are from Accident Compensation Australian. As soon as they started asking for my details I thought it was a scam, however I have had an accident in the past two years. just a coincidence. I asked them for their number and told them I would call back when it was convenient to me. The lady was persistent trying to get my contact details I insisted I would call back when I was ready.

Same number continues to call our business line, and hangs up when they hear I'm from a business.

Scammers! Using a legitimate car wreckers name and address however using different contact info. Managed to locate the actual wreckers who confirmed they are aware of the scammers using their location/business name.

called my mother , I took over the call, had no details, only wanted info, then asked how old I was, don't know what that had to do anything. got the number off them but they were insistent on wanting my mothers nr, which is odd as they had just called it.

These people are most likely involved in an identity theft racket. Chances are they are they already have some info about you, but on no account give them any personal information. And make sure your online banking is as secure as possible. If in doubt, hang up.

I had a call from the same number. I knew it was a scam as there were no accident in our household. if you are due for a pay out as a result of an accident it is the Insurance Company or your LAWYER that would ring.

Phoned us twice this morning already and we've had a number of them over the past few weeks talking about a car accident. Tell the where to go as they are a waste of time and energy and something should be done about them. HANG UP !

Last tow weeks have been constantly being harassed with phone call from "Accident Insurance Claim Line" asking if we have been involved in a accident in the last two years. They have rang every phone in the office. Not just once but a number of times. By a different person each time. They must have 10 Justin's working for them. Must say they are all Indians. We are also on the Do Not Call list. I asked for a number to call them back on, didn't want to give me one but got told 999 2777? What a load of BS. As soon as they hear our business and my name they hang up now. When they ring i can hear others in the back ground.

They've rung me, twice on the home phone and once on the mobile, same story, this is about an accident in the last couple of years, gave me a contact name of "Max Smith", but when i rang back, didn't give them my name or ask for Max Smith, when i pressed for details of the accident they told me it had happened on the 25th of December last year. Amazing that they could link an accident to me without my name:) More scary is that they have access to telephone numbers which could only come from Police or insurance company report forms.

I have had this person call me 4 times now at our work. I know this is a scam. Just to get them to waste their time I made up a story agreeing to the fact I was in an accident! thought I might string them along a bit to waste their time and hopefully it will spare some other unsuspecting person

They rang our private number and asked about a car accident in the last 2 years. My wife kept them on the phone going round and round in circles about while they were trying to get information out of her. She then asked to speak to someone else as she couldn't understand them and did the same to them until they got fed up with her!! Quite funny to listen to them getting frustrated
