Likewise I had a guy with an Indian accent with plenty of background noise calling and stating somebody had been in a car accident... Told them I don't drive and there was no car accident.

I am on the do not call register They called claiming to be Accident compensation Australia LTD saying someone at this address had an accident in the last 2 years but no one has, when asked for details of who is making the claim they could not give any details & hung up on me.
So I rang back & they claimed they were not saying any one had an accident & they were just doing a survey.
just spent an hour calling the number back abusing them every time they answered, after a few calls they started to hang phone up every time I called . I'm keeping up the harassment for much longer every time I think of it I'll be calling their number. Maybe they will get the message that you don't harass people trying to scam them.

Join in people randomly call the number & abuse them & report the number to service provider might as well get them on the phone or keep their phone busy at least then they can't call other people / old folk to scam them

Had a call 2 days ago from (02) 8006 9951 with same story about somebody from my private number had called stating somebody had been in a car accident in the past 12 months. Advised them I had never had a car accident and I suspected this was a scam call so told them to f*** off and never ring this number again

Called our work phone over 20 times in an hour saying we had been in a car accident and were we expecting a payout. Total scam....!

Been pestering me all morning about a car accident in last 2 years, spoke to same peanut 3 times. Parasites.

rang my private number , Try to tell me he was returning a call from my number . ask were he was from didn't what to talk when I rang back on private number . He also said he was in South Australia , When I said you are ringing off a Sydney number he let just leave there.

rings to say they are from an insurance company and someone at your phone number has had a car accident in the last 2 years and may be eligible for a payout - I hung up as I'd heard of this scam on social media (they ask for personal details to confirm)

This number called and said they had received a notification that i was in a car accident last year... not true.... most definitely a scam!

A new number for the "someone from this number has been involved in a car accident in the last 2 years" call.

(02) 8006 9951. I called back on another phone line and it was beeping. I believe this is same caller using different number. Possible scam.
