had a call advising my Internet was being suspended for 14-21 days because illegal activity was being detected linked to our broadband. Gave (02) 8006 8485 as her contact details at 363 Oxford St Paddington, which is a Telstra data centre. When asked for her details Scarlett D046122 was given = fake id

I am guardian for a lady with dementia, who is in permanent care. She has a mobile set up for incoming calls only (so we can call her) and this number has phoned her numerous times. I have called and asked them to stop, but they keep calling. I don't know what they say to her, but can see that they have called repeatedly, sometimes connecting.

I had 2 calls today from (02) 8006 8485 one on my mobile and one on my land line within 5 minutes of each other (from different persons), both claiming to be from Telstra and saying my internet would be disconnected for several months. In their best Indian/English accents it was easy to recognise them as scammers. I asked one why the internet would be disconnected and he hung up and the I didn't give the second caller (a girl) the chance to continue, I just hung up. This is just a big scam.

2 missed calls. Answered 1. Claimed to be Telstra, told me there was a virus on my PC, (which I do not own) and my internet connection is not with Telstra And needed my I.P. address, to which I said "If you are with Telstra, shouldn't you have that?"
Told me to "go f$&@ myself" and hung up

This number persistently called and I answered without checking two days ago. They said they were from telstra and asked about our internet connection and I told them we were happy with our provider they told me to 'get f#%*ed' and hung up. Thanks for this site.

They just rang again and this time someone was on the line. I asked him if he rings from Telstra and after a short pause he said yes and said he has to disconnect my internet blablabla. I'm not even with Telstra. :D Told him I informed police about the calls and he hung up. :D

I receive the calls on my landline from that number. Either missed call or after it gets disconnected after I answered. Very annoying. Can't find a button to block caller.

Having the same problems - keep on getting missed calls from this number over the last few days or I answer and then get hung up on. Gathering they want me to try from a landline - looks like a SCAM
