Scammer after personal details. Rubbish claim about tax rebates for working homeowners - they don't know true status yet claim to be government.

Tell them nothing, not the person they are seeking, don't own property etc.

Blocking list is getting bigger every week with low lifes being added.

the usual "goodbye message" if left to go to voicemail. If answered nothing happens. I am worried this may be one of those diversion to 1900 numbers where they charge you heaps for being connected to them....

Caller: Wealthfinders

Indian sounding guy with an anglo saxon name, said when asked he was from "Wealthfinders", which is exactly what they are trying to do at my expense. I tried to waste his time until he hung up, asking questions. He claimed to be in Melbourne yet the number was a NSW one. I asked for a website, he said they had none. He wanted to know if I was the home owner so he could inform me about some tax rebate blah blah blah. After a short time he hung up.
These scum can't be prosecuted because they're not calling from Australia. The only thing that may work is Australian Govt pressure on the Indian Govt. It wouldn't be that hard to shut down many of these call centres, but the corruption in India is endemic.
It's a shame that now I am unable to trust anyone who calls me and has an Indian accent, even in the very rare occasions they are genuine.

Called four times in 48 hours. Hung up on answer on three calls then on the fourth said "Hi This is John" I said "Yes John what can I do for you"? At which point he hung up.

Called me 4 times when I refused to speak to them each time - over period of app 20 minutes. Nuisance calls only ceased at 4th call when I stated the male caller was harassing g me and I was going to report him to authorities.

everyday I have a call from this number to my work phone. Same message and I cannot remove myself from these painful calls
