Despite being on the Do Not Call register this number calls me nearly every day.
I've tried different answers. Today I told him I'm on that register and he apologized.
The trouble is I am becoming so annoyed, I might cut off a genuine caller one day.

I stopped the guy and asked what company he was from - Enviro Solutions (Something to do with energy prices) - I then asked for the ABN number of the Company and he replied why do you want to know that. I said I want to know if you are an Australian Company. He then replied and said you must be on the do not call register so I will take you off our list. Before I got to finish my sentence of, well I am on the Do Not Call Register and why are you calling me, he hung up on me.

Many calls from this number,last call was at 8.35 last night !!!

I tried calling straight back and got the message "Optus advises the number you are trying to call is DISCONNECTED!!!

Tried calling back, but apparently the number doesn't exist???

phone was answered by my machine. they just hung up when they realised nobody was going to pick up.

Female recored voice saying "goodbye" then hangsup. Looks like they checking if its a live line. Best thing to do is just put number on the blacklist.

I answered the phone with "Hello" and there was a long silence then hangs up. Maybe recording your voice????

This number called, I didn't answer it, thinking it was a charity, or if someone important they would leave a message. I listened to the message and got the 'goodbye' call 22 to reply. Number is listed as Bemboke, NSW. Glad I checked the number here. Will block.

Caller: Called himself Wealthfinders.com.au

Indian scam caller, they are very persistent, even when I mentioned no such website he still persisted. It is very hard to get work in India so many resort to scamming "rich" westerners. You can't compete with a billion Indians so best just to hang up and maybe add a few expletives.

This number is flagged in my mobile phone as spam. It is usually a woman's recorded voice saying goodbye when answered. Getting more and more of these types of calls every week.

Could be the equivalent to a ping test. An auto-dialer calls to see if anyone picks up. that number is then added to a pool which is serviced by human assets as part of a exploitation effort. Sad, but this has been going on for as long as there have been telephones.

I just got the "goodbye" message then it hung up.

Phones and hangs up and leaves a message on voice mail of a female voice saying 'goodbye'.

This number has called me several times and i haven't answered. Call says from Bemboka in NSW. I've called straight back and receive message saying "Optus advises this number is disconnected".
