I have been getting these "telstra" calls for a while, they seem to prefer females to make the call in the belief that they won't get abused by aussie males . BIG MISTAKE.

These pricks keep calling me.

I'll be lodging a complaint on Telstras "Unwanted and Nuisance Call" service on Monday as they are harassing, and demanding that whoever is the VOIP provider who has granted them the number block, takes action and terminates the number range immediately.

Just had these idiots from 'Telstra' ring up at 10pm tonight! I usually get them around 6pm...they are either Microsoft, Solar Rebates, Legal Government Tax Loopholes (those ones are located in Qld and I think Aussie based...they send out some salesperson, and you never see your money again)
I've blown whistles, left them hanging as I go and get the 'home owner', told them I don't have internet, or just had it cancelled, or couldn't access it, or I am not with Telstra. I reckon someone should start up a friendly competition on who has the best answer for these scum. At least get something out it!
I would advise that if you ever get a phone call or email, and even if it sounds legit, never talk to them, but thank them nicely and state that you will hang up now, and contact whoever involved directly, as you never give information out over the phone because of scams. If they try and talk you out of it...you know it is a scam. Easiest thing to do is to advertise this on free to air TV...most people have a TV...especially the elderly who fall prey to this. The banks should pay for it....they make huge profits!

Had a call from them just before. Was suspicious from the get go but played along with them for a bit while I searched the phone number to see if it was a scam.

Once I knew for certain it was a scam number I told the mananger it was a scam and to get lost, he got agitated and hung up straight away

I just got the call from "Telstra" for the eleventy billionth time this week.

Usually I play along for 5-10 minutes to save them from scamming someone else.
This time I told him that he was a scam artist and his family must be sooooo proud of him.

He called me a mother f$%ker and hung up on me! WIN!

I think next time, I might just bang the handset on the counter repeatedly until they hang up.

Very frustrating! Had at least 3 calls today. Why can't these calls be traced and then send in the police. We are paying for a service (phone line) therefore, Telstra should be doing something about it!

Received call today from this number. Someone Asian accent purporting to be Amy from Telstra Technical Dept. asked about my internet. I said I don't have it and she hung up.

I was receiving these calls from overseas 3 times a day. I recently (2months ago) put a block in all overseas calls and I have had peace. Last two days I've received 8 phone calls. Am not happy. My peace is gone again.

Ask them for their telstra ID number, since they claim to work for telstra tech support; Ive had some just hang up, others have made up a number on the spot, its quite amusing but, seriously about time this stopped. Been around for years now!

Keep getting calls from this number telling me they are Telstra (as per all others here). Sad part is I think the person today seemed to be convinced that she actually worked for Telstra as a sub-contractor. She was being scammed too.
