saying from national broadband - SCAM caller

Hung up as soon as I answered.

Caller: NBN supposedly!

Bloody sick an tired of all this scam crap. 3 already so far today ...... about time the Government put a stop to this or Phone carriers take control.

have received a message from Nicole who says she is from NBN and internet will be cut off in next 24 hours. They have left tis message every day this week just ignore them but I don't think they will go away unless Telstra or the Government do something about them.

keep getting calls from this number if you answer they hang up but not straight away just sick of it thinking I will have phone taken off

I really think all you telcos could put a stop to these hackers , they have been going on for years you know the numbers . instead of sitting back & ripping off the public & makings billions , try fixing the problems , who knows you might more billions as people might use the phone more if they are not getting scams calls all the time. cheers.

NBN robocall

Robo call about my NBN. I'm sick of these calls!!

Claiming to be from Telstra. Said he was a technician. Said IP address is getting hacked. Asked him for his credentials to verify, he told me his name is Edward Collins but he is an Indian sounding chap. I told him he was a bad man but he hung up on me.

A similar caller rang just 2 minutes before using the number (03) 8802 9291. I googled that number only to find it was a scam.I did not answer the first call. I answered the (02) 4915 7390. It was like a computer generated voice, very unusual.
It just kept talking, so I hung up.

Rang August 1 at 12.51pm, hung up as soon as answer machine picked up the call.

I don't answer the phone anymore as the number is strange to me and is not in my contacts tuff, they don't leave a message their scammers.

They have been ringing for days, up to 3 -4 times a day. Say they are from NBN but they aren't. Keep hanging up on them.

Received a call supposedly from NBN saying they are going to cut off my phone unless I press "1" to speak to the technician. I did not press 1 and the call disconnected after a few seconds. Tried to call back and the number is constantly engaged. I presumed this is a scam even though I am having issues with my NBN and waited all yesterday afternoon for a technician to call to the house (arranged through a call from me to Telstra) which didn't occur. Nearly fooled, but luckily I wasn't.
