Just had a phone call from this number, Male Indian voice claiming to be from Microsoft, stating there was an issue with my computer. Told him "he must have a wrong number as I only use Linux". He was persistent and gave and only hung up after discovering I was a software engineer. 2 minutes later an additional overseas number called, left it for the answering machine, no message. Instructed the rest of my family to let all 09 numbers go to answering machine.
Even my mother (without a computer) has received calls from this number.

0999910010 Just has a Indian girl call me from that number and asked if I have authorised a payment to someone in New Zealand, they went on to say they are from the National foreign transfer department here in Brisbane, I said are you part of the Australian Government, they said yes, then they said they were working with the National Australian Brank I asked them what is there contact number they gave me a 1300 number when I said please hold and I will call that number to verify they hung up. Googling that 1300 number it belonged to a Ski lodge here in Australia. So beware this could be the new scam as it's the first time I have had this one. Normally it is calls saying my computer is sending out errors. I wish the Au government could do something to stop these con artists/criminals/ and other bad words that I wont write here.

Had a call from this number on my "private" phone number. Did not answer it but did try to call it back and it said that the number was disconnected and to check the number I was calling. Checked it out on the computer to find this site so now I am aware I definitely will not answer it. Thanks for the heads up, although I did think it was an odd number.

Have had this number call so many times today they said they we're from Microsoft, I said I'm busy what's your number I'll call you back and took him ages to give me the number I asked what state they we're in he said Victoria once I asked what suburb he hung up, useless pricks. Needs to be a way to block these especially overseas calls

Getting daily call, no one speaks, then hang up. Have identified as scammer in caller id. Don't answer but then they don't leave any message. Unable to return the call.

Just had a call from this number. She said she was from Microsoft, so I asked her where she was ringing from. She hung up. This would have to be the shortest scammer call ever!

Had a call from 09999910010. I said "Hello" twice and then a computer generated voice said "Goodbye!" Definitely a scam. If you do have caller ID, might be worthwhile saving these numbers into your phone under 'scammer' 'deadbeat calling' 'do-not answer' etc.
