Dodgy , I picked up the call and nothing for 5 seconds the a computer voice says goodby and hangs up on me !!!WTF

Yep 2nd call from these scammers in the last 2 days. Winows Help Desk - sure!!
Can anything be done to stop them?

Strange number, they spoke and went straight into the "I'm from windows" speech, yeah ok sure sure. Just hang up. Surely there is something that can be done about these arseholes

Tell them nothing Microsoft will never call you!!! Just hang up on the caller.

They are computer scammers trying to get back door access to your computer, Tina called me I told her to get f***ed.

Hmmm This is a number Ive not been contacted by before, but interestingly enough I had 3 emails today telling me there were issues with our Microsoft.... and then this call?? so they email you and then call??? Surely not....

guy named Jason rang, claims they are a computer windows service company, trying to sell anti virus protection and wants to turn on my firewall,
also claims that my PC is connected to their windows server, what Microsoft server, I asked, no a windows server, what nonsense, told him I wasn't interested, he said they know my IP address and he threatens to block it if I don't let him fiddle with my PC. Good Luck.

Rings constantly claiming to be from Microsoft telling us we have a virus on our computer.

asked for me by full name. as the number looked suss to me, i asked who was calling. they said it was in regard to an unpaid Windows bill. i replied that the person they want is not home and can i take your name and number and she will return your call. the accented male mumbled something unintelligible than hung up. very suss!

They say they work for google. They tell me i have just updated my hotfrog account - mind you i am still on the page doing the update - and want to sell me a spot on google. Not very good english and i tell them to send me an email.. They never do.

Rang at 6.01pm - no one speaks, doesn't sound like anyone is there. With a number like that, up to no good.

yep this number is being used by a person with a foreign accent claiming to be from MS just block them. I guess the telco will disconnect them when they don't pay the bill...

Suspect caller & strange looking number. No reply, just silence when we picked up phone. Called number got Telstra recording - number disconnected. CREEPY.

This number rings me but never speaks, always thought it was the Indians with another scam even though Im on the no call list.

Let the call go to msg bank due to dodgy number.
