Just in case I asked for a return number to call and was given 1800 931 584 with a reference 1-2949016308344

Called Telstra on 1800 260 270 (number from here https://www.telstra.com.au/content/dam/tcom/personal/help/pdf/is-it-really-telstra-calling.pdf)

Telstra confirmed after some checks there was no outbound call from Telstra recorded on my account today and definitely a scam, and the reference was not for my NBN request. Asked to block number on my phone and to report any further contact.

Caller: Maybe Telstra re non connection request

Received a call from allegedly Telstra regarding my request for nbn connection from (02) 9213 2700. Mixed messages from this site that mentions are hat it is Telstra techs and other stating it is spam. The 1800 931 584 was the number provided by the caller to ring back to speak to a tech. This site has does not have details on whether the number is legit or bogus
