Caller: CLAIMS TO BE NBN

Rang claiming they were from NBN but could tell me who my nbn provider was and then hung up. Its a scam.

Caller: Michael Jones

The NBN seems to have a lot of Michaels working for them, just got a call and they tried to get me to log into fibre . screen connect . com

so no i ofcourse called them out and hung up

Mobile number called my home number, said they were from Telstra and that our Broadband was being upgraded to fibre optic to allow faster speed. Asked me to do a speed test - as I work from home, I asked if I could call back later. they gave me 1800 687 626 to call back, asked what time roughly I would call back. Asian sounding female. Needless to say after reading comments on here and googling, I will not be calling back.

Caller: Michael Thompson

Claimed to be a technician from NBNco. Initial caller asked to to a speed test before transferring to technician (Michael) who asked me to install TeamViewer on my laptop and AnyDesk on my phone. He asked for the ID and password, which I would not provide, and wanted to lock in an appointment for another technician to come to the house, which I declined.

BIG SCAM. NBN doesn't call about things like this:

Caller claimed to be from NBN and quoted number 1800 687 626. Reverse lookup indicated that Olight was number listed

Caller: Michael from NBN Co

Initially called from 0419 628 311. Said there was an issue with NBN speed. I asked to call him back and he then gave his name as Amil and this 1800 number.

Caller: Charlie from mobile number 0460 586 472

This guy pretended to be from Telstra, called from mobile number 0460 586 472
He said my internet IP could have been compromised and want to perform a few key stroke on my computer.

when I said I want to call him through Telstra, he gave me return number 1800 687 626

I think this is a scam

Claimed to be nbn wanting to fix my copper for free

Caller: Claim to be NBN Co

that some one in California connected with my IP Number for the last 2 weeks

Caller: Said his name was Charlie from NBN Co

Said someone was using my computer IP address from a different location over the last 2 weeks. I commented that; my computer was not operational at all for the last 2 weeks & i didn't have an NBN connection. He kept on talking over me so i hung up. Scammers cause nothing but suffering!!

Claimed to be from NBN. Wanted us to do an internet speed test. The speaker sounded like a con man.
