They call with no caller ID then tell you to call Telstra immediately I called this number and was asked who I was and my contact detail that I would not give then she got angry and said I need to give her details I called Telstra and it was not them

I have received numerous calls from this number - I don't pick up, it goes straight to my voicemail. They leave a pre-recorded message saying it's an urgent call from Telstra about my account (I don't have a Telstra account).
I can see other messages on this thread are the same (since 2018) with the same 1800 number- I think it's about time Telstra followed up and put a stop to this!!!

Keep receiving this call, telling me it isn’t a telemarketing call and that they have an urgent message from Telstra. When I have answered I have selected 1 and it just keeps calling. Haven’t called the 1800 150 940 number yet but will give them a piece of my mind when I do

Received 4 calls today with No Caller ID. After 4th call they left an automated voicemail message using the standard Telstra female voice: 'This is not a telemarketing call. This is an urgent message from Telstra for Mrs Janine Lane to contact us about your account. Please call us on 1800 150 940.' Called the number, was answered by standard Asian call centre voice asking for my account number. Declined to give it and was told 'I understand

Got this phone call from this number. It said the same thing that others have said. "This is an urgent call for the account of "Name" press 1 now." I just hung up.
The calls kept coming until I got a voice message to call 1800 150 940 about my account and that this is not telemarketing.
I went onto the Telstra Website. The only phone number they have is the 13..... number. I left them (Telstra) a message with both numbers concerned.
I then typed the 1800 number into the web browser and came across this site.

Caller: Claimed to be Telstra

Caller said they were Telstra and that I owed $944. I do not owe Telstra any money and in fact months prior to this call had to go to the Ombudsman resulting in Telstra refunding me over $1100
I left subsequent calls unanswered .Finally they left a message requesting I call them . I have not done this.

Caller: Claiming to be Telstra 1800 150 940

Constantly receiving these calls... i actually spoke to someone last week (instead of pressing 1 to pay the outstanding amount) and she said i had to go into a Telstra Business store for my ID to be verified... there will be people out there that press 1 and pay the amount outstanding if they dont block this number!

Today 9.04.2021 I filled in Telstra’s “suspicious phone call” drop down menu. If anyone else gets annoyed by this scam, please do the same. I think the more of us that do that, the more chance we have of Telstra realising something needs to be done about it.

Received 10 calls over three days. No caller ID. 10th call finally left a ‘recorded’ voice message, as I would not select ‘1’ to connect the call.
I was asked to call 1800 150 940 urgently, regarding a company account that my phone number has not been associated with for over 12 months. I will not be calling them back!
